The MINI GOAT- Micro Observatory

Showing you an overview of my new micro observatory! I used an old IBC tank, had a perfect strong frame to use. Took longer to construct than I expected, probably as I work far too slowly, in-between the many other farm priorities.
But well worth it! Already feeling so much easier to image pretty nebulae etc , as I haven't had to polar alignment for weeks!!
This is a small setup, using the tiny but very capable Sky watcher Star Adventure GTI , a Rokinon 135mm lens and very capable QHY715C colour planetary camera for deep sky imaging.
We call it the GOAT observatory, for multiple reasons, esp after the many goats that can hang around it and justify protection of the expensive contents!

Cool, thanks! I like it too, though it can be tight when working on things! I'm having teething probs with NINA, but once ironed out, I hope to Livestream some sessions

@@TamleughPark Yeah, NINA's great once you get it figured out. I messed around with it for a while by myself, then watched Patriot Astro's Advanced Sequence videos & downloaded his templates. They're great.
