I had the intel version, used as workstation/Desktop and I HATED it. I have a LOT of storage and thought this would be good solution. I don't know about the AMD version, but the Intel version (used as desktop/workstation) was VERY slow. Especially for 13th gen I9. File transfer was super slow. I sold the machine and replaced with a Minisforum 890. I purchased 2 thunderbolt enclosures. It is blazing fast in comparison and the file transfer of thunderbolt 4 is much faster than the 3rd and 4th NVME's you can install internally. After purchasing the enclosures it is a bit more $ but a FAR better solution for me.

Too big for me. I've just purchased the Geekom A8, and it's incredible how powerful it is for its size. It's even smaller than the new MacMini. What it would make it perfect is a thunderbolt 5 port, so I can plug a eGPU. Oculink is fine, but Thunderbolt 5 has a bigger bandwidth and you can hot plug accessories. But right now, the only mini computer with thunderbolt 5 is the new Mac Mini with M4 Pro processor.

I grew up with mini PCs in the 2000s. Would've loved to have one of these. Smaller yet powerful. I'd rather go for Vista than Windows 10+, tho, lol.

This looks pretty good but I think I would still opt for the ASRock DeskMini X600 for a Ryzen7 8700G mini computer which has better thermal headroom when using the AXP-90 full copper cooler. The ASRock doesn't come with an Oculink, which I don't need anyway.. The ASRock has a better graphical UEFI BIOS with more settings to undervolt and overclock to get better performance too. It all boils down to personal preferences really..

Every mini pc has a external power adaptor, will not be a mini pc if you put PSU in mini pc, will than be a SFF or USFF pc. Unless they use pico psu

These have decent power under there small hood it seems .. Then MS comes in with there many failed ideas and thinks it would be a great idea to make a Dummy Terminal pushing windows 365 for the home user with NO local data storage and All your data stored online for around or more or less a mid ranged mini form factor that can do anything you need. How many times can a company have a bad idea before they get the hint .
