Actually shoulda been 33-10. If the Vikings score on that A Jones screen, the 49ers wouldnt have had any juice. That play gave them crazy momentum. It almost cost the Vikings the game, but Sam Darnold picked the defense apart and drove down the field taking 6 and a half minutes off the clock to make it a 2 possession game. But if Jones scored the 9ers woulda known the game was over.

It's absolutely embarrassing to use CMC being out as an excuse when Mason has been playing lights out. Minnesota had two red zone turnovers that were pretty flukey, and without those San Francisco would have been getting absolutely blown out.

Sam Darnold is faster than Kirk Cousins, and a better quarterback at this stage in his career than Cousins. The Vikings are playing well together, they gel together very well. Good win for Vikes but looking at their upcoming schedule and the injuries they have, especially if Justin Jefferson ends up out for a few games, they will have some challenges for sure. Nonetheless good start to the season and beating the 49ers is no small task. Darnold has looked very good, hopefully can keep it going and not get into turnover mode. O-Line has helped that cause, played very well over first two games.

No Addison No TJ Justin was out in the 4th. The Niners may not have had CMC, but they still had Debo and George. Also, Debo has been used as a back before. Also, I have a side note on that, I Debo and George are off the field, Brock Purdy struggles if you xan shut down the run. As we saw, George and Debo had to come off the field a lot. When that happened, he saw ghosts.
