This is why we need young people to get into this music because in their hands it can still live! Stephanie Trick kicks it.

Fats Waller's original is from 1929 and with a whole band of trumpetplayers, clarinet, drums and everything. Stephanie is playing the solo of every instrument, and she is doing it so well. Astonishing!

ckeck this out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noCoh5uFi7NnnpY This is a marvellous interpretation, and Fats was after all a piano player... she even brings out different feels for the solo parts!

Is there a piano solo version of the music sheet that she was playing?
@zacharykoplin6543 Жыл бұрын
In actually on the day of the recording, Fats had just finished a night of drinking. He had no music, instruments or people to play with. So while his manager(I think) was going out getting people fats was writing tunes down in the back of a taxi. He ended with a banjo, trombone, trumpet, clarinet and himself. Who needs drums when you have a killer left hard!

Amazin' She plays with such apparent lack of physical effort. Her motor co ordination ie brain to fingers is like lightening. Only superceded by advanced classical pianists. A pleasure to hear.
