Being part of a community is not a passive experience but an active participation. It underscores that in every community, there is an exchange-what we receive from those who came before us and what we give to those around us now. The spiritual legacy handed down to us grows richer when we contribute our own gifts, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant they might be.
God values our willingness to give, rather than the size of our gift. Just as the boy’s five loaves and two fish were miraculously multiplied, our small offerings can be transformed into something much greater when entrusted to God. It challenges us to offer what we have, even the parts of ourselves we might feel are not enough, trusting that God can use these to bless and build up the community.
Ultimately, we are called to see our role in the community as both receivers and givers, understanding that every contribution matters. Our willingness to give, even in our weakness, is what strengthens the community and carries forward the spiritual legacy for future generations.

Praise the Lord For this timely message Fr Michael. We are with Marriage Encounter Ministry for many years and yet we often felt inadequate, unworthy, insignificant as we judged that the couples in thw community are intellectual, affluent and well off. We are just a simple couple, not even professionals who had nothing much to offer. Yet we continue to serve in the community to build our spousal relationship while struggling in our own inadequacies. Thank you for the enlightened message of the little boy with 5 loaves and 2 fish. I will always remember him that we offer whatever and however small we have, the Lord will turn into something beautiful.

Praise the Lord. I can relate when I had stage fright, scared speaking in speech class now a miracle I am a volunteer reader during Holy Mass still felt the jitter before reading .My faith &✝️🙏🙄help me to overcome.

Fr 👏 today I have seen your room with all old pictures of God's it is so sweet of you so deep you are in God's love Amen iam proud to see I also have seen picture with the boy in your room fr one thing I want say before you are about say that's your room I guess it and you said that's your room.
