i think the ex Pokémon can be decently balanced even with a lot of raw power by doing a combination of the following: 1 increasing the aeos energy consumption to make then struggle to score reliably 2 not giving them too much mobility (make them titans not protagonists) 3 make ko'ing them give more exp to reward dealing with a strong pokemon (tying into the titans thing even more) 4 make them take more exp to level up, essentially making them weaker for 80% of the match 5 have a limit of one EX per team

This is accurate. No ex allowed for master means no one buys miraidon therefore allow ex in master rank. If draft is their everyone bans miraidon because we know we made this shit powerful so no one buys miraidon again. We know our matchmaking is shit so let’s change the rule for draft.

@@47slogra In hindsight I was dumb to think size would be an issue blanking on stuff like Lugia, Dialga and Eternatus. I feel Supporter is still going to be difficult to pull off with a Box Legendary, Xerneas is said to grant Eternal Life but has also teared through teams in competetive. Maybe Geomancy could be similar to Umbreon's Wish but instead of healing you boost Move Speed and Attack / Special Attack.

Start as the single Zygarde cell and as the match progresses you turn into Zygarde complete which lets you AoE the entire arena with Thousand Arrows. There's a Sure-Hit move waiting to happen 💀

Draft should be entirely for ranked though certain lvl players shouldn't not be able to play rank until a certain lvl or pokemon experience. Because without draft for every rank, ranked mode is no different then playing standard!!!!!!

Good points, one point that got omitted is that in the dev letter, the 1400+ thing was stated in a vague way, so it was their intention from the start … In the same sentence they said also they will be removing draft from ranked all together if they see it not good enough. 😂😂 another point, they also said they are open to expand the draft mode to lower ranks if draft mode got positive feedback .. all in the dev letter, it’s not me creating sentences out of nothingness

These devs have really fucked this game. It has so much potential but it’s just about money and abusing the pokemon fan base. They don’t listen and don’t care about the players and have made it very apparent. Very sad and don’t know how people can still play it or how people can say pick your favorite pokemon and have fun. Anyone with skill or who really knows what’s going on can’t tell me this game is fun right now. There are moments small moments of joy, but overall it’s just not a fun game. It’s miserable

And not only that, I've played this game until this wednesday which made me to delete it, I was crashing continuosly and i couldnt play ranked matches anymore becuas of my internet and the amount of bad matches i got becuase of my teammates and their lack of skill made me to quit. Miraidon is a freaking tragedy. It has happened three times now, it WILL happen again. The only, and I mean ONLY saving grace is the devs eventually give the latest EX a series of lil itty bitty baby nerfs until it's only overpowered and not inherently game breaking. I'm keeping my hopes up that maybe the EX bans will become a regular thing for the seasons in between EX releases, or the devs actually bringing draft into ranked so we can ban them ourselves. In the mean time I've just been avoiding Pokémon Unite and playing other games instead. I feel like not playing entirely has to send some sort of message if enough of us do it.

Honestly, since Zacian release I started to wonder if the people in charge of Unite even know what the f they are doing. Adding legendary, 5-star or something like that over powered character is something strait from gacha games. You can't do this in MOBA. It will ruin experience for players and make your game miserable to play.

last season was my last season for this game. I use to love climbing the ladder with my friends and we dealt with the issue for far too long. I feel that behavior from the dev team will never entice competitive before the greedy live service model and we will face this issues throughout the lifespan of the game. the Draft mode is virtually inexistent for the average unite player so broken sets, unbalanced matchmaking and the need to spend fuels the model even more. this was a fine time but there is no saving the game, not in this kind of environment and history trends. imo. for those remaining best of luck!!

This game is an eternal cycle of getting good for a couple of seasons and then getting terrible again. If you accept to play this game, you accept never getting out of it. This is a cash grab and it is always gonna be. I wish I wad mistaken about it but sadly I am not and will never be. Pokemon doesnt care if you have fun or not, if the meta is healthy or if it is a competent moba, they just want your wallet and if they dont get it then you are fodder for the ones that do give it to them. The gameplay is still fun which is what makes this so bad, We're only a few changes away (EX Bans, More Draft, Better Matchmaking). I personally use the Returning Player mechanic, If you don't play in two weeks you get 14k free coins which lets me avoid the Broken stuff then get it when I come back.

In order for Miraidon to be free you would have to be able to do the event without investing any of your Aeos coins to unlock it. The Sandwich Challenge The game has 16 squares per level. You have 26 days to complete the challenge. You must roll the die to advance. It takes 3 days to advance to the next level IF you roll a 6 and two 5's or two 6's and one 5. You get 1 die per day plus 3 die's from the dancer daily and 6 die's from the Panic Parade. 9 die's extra on top of the 26 dies one per day. It takes 3 die to advance per level again IF you roll two 5's and a 6 or one 5 and two 6's. You get 5 reroll chances per roll. It costs 100 coins +50 extra for each roll after that. If you reroll 3 times - that is 100+150+200 = 450 coins total. If you do not roll enough 6's you do not unlock Miraidon during the 26 day challenge. You need 1000 sandwich points in order to unlock Miraidon. You have a 90% chance to get 100 after each round and a 10% chance to get 150. I have not gotten the 150 yet. You also get 10 points per mission you complete. So 16 squares to advance - 3 die's IF you roll a 5 and two 6's or two 5's and a 6. And 26 days to complete the challenge. That's 26 daily dies + 9 you get from the other two 'events.' 35 dies in total. If you do not use the reroll option and hit 5's or 6's you do not unlock Miraidon. If you use the reroll you are investing 100 coins+ and it adds another 50 per roll after that. Miraidon is not free. It isnt 12000 13000 or 14000 coins but you could easily invest 2000-3000 from the rerolls alone. Both M2X and M2Y had the same reroll options except it didnt add 50 to each extra roll. It was always 100 coins. Zacian was the only EX pokemon that did not require any coins to invest in order to unlock after completing its Challenge. Some people might defend well at least it isnt 14k coins to unlock - true - but any challenge that requires investing aeos coins even 100 at a time means unlocking it is NOT FREE. Lets get back to Miradion - if you had to reroll your die to get 5 or 6 to advance and you rerolled 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 times you invested 100(1st reroll)+150(2nd reroll)+200(3rd reroll)+250(4th reroll)+300(5th reroll). 5 rerolls is 1000 coins in total. I point this out only to show that unlocking it may not cost 14k coins - but you can easily invest 2k, 3k, 5k or more coins depending on how many times you had to reroll per die that did not roll a 5 or 6 on its first roll. AND if you did not invest in rerolls you would not complete the challenge. Unless you got lucky and got mostly 5's and 6's on all your rolls. I got a few 1's and had to reroll up to 3x.
