Very informative. I just wish we cherish our legends when they are alive.

I feel like we really take what these legends fought for just for granted. If we aren't careful, we may lose our heritage

Thank you John OQuinn for a powerful video. It should be widely viewed... Thank you Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela et al! I grew up in South Africa on the side of white privilege during apartheid years, and had my worldview turned around in 1956 by Trevor Huddleston and a weekend meeting black leaders in and near Sophiatown & Soweto. (I left for USA 2 years later - now in Canada).

She's bringing tears to my eyes, i only saw apartheid a little bit when going to town with my mom because i would ask her why they didn't talk to her in some other shops, she just said i will know when i'm old enough. It's so sad that these legends are not recognized while still alive, we only celebrate them when they are gone. RIP Mama Afrika

It is incredibly piercing that pain and struggle is the only documented part of my history, growing up to watch videos , read books and continuously see in my community the continued brutalization and dehumanization of my people. These are our mothers and fathers. I am pissed off about colonialism, and particularly apartheid.

Good night sweet prince Cedric the martyr Lion of Zimbabwe, may you rest in peace and in the memory of all murdered relations of the animal kingdom. We praise Eternal Honor for Cedric whose life was taken away by an American dentist. We call out to all emotionally affected by this tragic occurrence to join with the global action of stopping the killing of animals for game. We encourage the gathering of kindred spirits at all public places with the healing power of music to celebrate the King Lions of Africa. To bridge efforts across the world toward ceasing the arrogant display of wealth with a disregard for the sacredness of all living things. May Wimoweh/The Lion Sleeps Tonight play night and day all over the world until this person is brought before the world court of opinion to end this practice. Good night sweep prince Cedric the Lion of Lions. Rest in Peace We Love You Miriam Makeba, Always in Our Hearts.

Exactly what Trudeau did. Tried to be hard on me. Like it did with you, it made me more determined. Some people are not for bullying or trapping in a corner. You will lose. Make no mistake about it. I will stand up to bullies. Always have.

If you forgive your enimies make sure their hearts are broken first and come to their senses first in another words in their right mind as humble human beings and not follow the footsteps of Satan no more and than tell them sovereign almighty God rules his earth and gives to whomever he delights in accounting to his will .

If you forgive your enimies make sure their hearts are broken first and come to their senses first in another words in their right mind as humble human beings and not follow the footsteps of Satan no more and than tell them sovereign almighty God rules his earth and gives to whomever he delights in according to his will . Hatred towards black or coloured people of Africa and exploiting them is not acceptable with sovereign almighty God and Africa is god's gift to us ,we live of the land ,we toil the land and our animals keep the land fertile,so don't fool us with your version of religion the only religion is from almighty God and his prophets peace be upon them we had Moses in Egypt,we had Joseph in Egypt the number of prophets walked the earth in total is 124,000 peace be upon them all ,may the sovereign most high protect us from Satan followers in our lands who are like wolves in sheep's clothings ,we also believe in the last prophet Muhammad pbuh and his family, the family of prophet Muhammad were killed in the way of the sovereign most high and one is alive he is around somewhere,we look forward to his appearance to being true justic for all mankind and destroy the evil regimes on earth he shall rule the earth with a rid of iron till the time of judgement where each person shall give account of his and her deeds there will no escape from that ,even the dead will rise to give account.May the God of Muhammad pbuh protect us from the Satan which misguides humankind and jinnkind .
