I'm glad you found the courage to move from abuse to anointing! I went thru my share of painful and discouraging situations. And a particularly devastating situation with a man that shattered me to my core. And it took me the past several years. And it was only last year that I realised. Those broken pieces. One day my mama said the saints wake up and ask God when can they get up from resting. She was smiling so hard. I told her don't be rushing God you wait till I get there. My mama praised like this in church. Her and them other saints would show up and show out for the Lord. My mama had NO shame in letting people know who she serves. She played her gospel music 24 hours a day. Would blast it in her truck have all the windows down. My mom and many of the saints she grew up in God is gone, but I know when Jesus came for my mom she did a holy dance all the way to her resting spot. I know my mama dance all up and down on that highway to heaven. My mama always said when Jesus come for her there is no looking back. I will see her again. So can't crown King of King Jesus until I get there.

Little did I know that shortly after writing my earlier post,my nephew was killed and 6 weeks after that we found my baby sister deceased from a massive stroke at the age of 47. She left behind 5 children with the baby boy just turning 5 one week before she passed away. So I lost my mom,nephew and sister within 3 months. It's been hard on our family but God is still good and faithful!

This was my great grandfathers favorite song. Woman at our church i called Ms. Kamilah sang it beautifully and so unique. When he passed she couldn't make it to the funeral. The next week she came to my grandparents house, along with 3 other choir members, and proceeds to SING! this song in their living room. Will never forget that moment. Six years later today i'm struggling to make it through my work day for some reason this was the song that found me. Glad i could come on here and hear it...for the third time now.

Mosie Burkes and the rest have brought me a measure of joy during a seriously challenging rough season of my life. I kid you not the Kings of Kings Lion of Judah fills my body with his holiness and joy permeates thru my body.. Praise songs should be played on all airwaves but we all know why...
