Must watch interview. Miz once again proves he's one of the greats in all of WWE as he gets very passionate about Daniel Bryan, WWE creative, dressing for the occasion, taking on AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and his future in the company.

Miz is always great for blurring kayfabe and reality in these interviews. He’s come such a loooooong way since his WWE championship run in terms of his promos and his in-ring.

The wwe did him a great disservice giving him the title only 6 years into his wrestling career when he wasn't even over yet. It's the only reason he hasn't had another chance since

One of the most underappreciated wrestlers I've ever seen. He's great in the ring and even greater out of the ring. He's old-school, which I like. He believes in respecting the veterans and earning your keep. He also does what he says in that he always remains consistent, and he's also always doing whatever he can to remain relevant. So he not only only shows up, but does his best to keep his character fresh. Not for nothing, but I don't think he was joking when he was telling this guy to wear a suit. It definitely shows a lack of respect, and he's obviously got a heartburn for people who don't show enough respect for him. He's not expecting people to bow down and kiss his feet but he wants and deserves to be respected in the ting and outside of the ring. Daniel Bryan does not respect him inside the ring, and this guy wearing shorts to do an interview with him was not showing respect outside of the ring. His lesson here was to look the part, and the best thing he said was how hard work will trump talent when talent does not work hard enough. If you just relying on your talent, you will lose where is if you just rely on hard work, you will find success somewhere. I fucking love the Miz. I know this was probably half serious half joking, and these two have great chemistry, but he definitely meant what he said.

miz is awesome, he cares for the people around him. I don't think he really "demands" respect, that's just miz playing character. I feel what he's saying is simply this, if miz with no talent can get far with hard work, just imagine how far the interviewer would go with a little hard work on top of his talent?

The best part about The Miz, is his ability to blur the lines. This whole interview he was in character, but he was speaking about very real topics.

I already stopped cheering Bryan since his return because of his "don't give a fuck" attitude while being booked like the face of the company basically robbing KO and Sami a safe WM victory. But his feud with Miz is so real and I can't find a reason to be on Bryan's side in this one except for subjective preference or to phrase it more nicely being a loyal fan. Like Miz said "Is he right though?" and I think "hell fucking no he isn't"

Miz in the living, breathing embodiment of the old wrestling advice: "A great heel always believes he is in the right." He's so unlikable, because he not only tells you the truth, but he shoves it down your damn throat.

After punk this guy makes things so real because he's saying it from heart. It's true. Daniel is a complainer. he said wwe creative can't book things long period. Is the same wwe that wrote his wrestlemania baby face yes chant run. It was the storyline that was over with the fans not bryan. His return is a failure.
@Madferit91
@Madferit91 5 жыл бұрын
Bullshit. What Daniel said is totally truth. We still watch because we are fans of wrestling, and we've been watching for a many years. But the level of storytelling that the WWE has today, is the one of a kids show. It's horrible. And that in normal circumstances. Can you imaghine them doing a long term quality story? No fucking way in hell. I love Miz but here he just sounds like he is sucking up. The bigger of a star he gets, the more he acts like Cena. Just constantly saying what Vinnie Mac wants to hear.
@ammar675
@ammar675 5 жыл бұрын
Trevor Miller he doesn’t sound like Cena one bit. He’s just telling it like it is. You’re supposed to look good if you wanna be marketed.
@ZulqiK
@ZulqiK 5 жыл бұрын
Ammar Khalid He's comparing Cena to the Miz because The Miz is arguing against Daniel Bryan's criticism of WWE Creative ability to provide quality long term story telling, not looking good in order to be marketed. And in this instance, Daniel Bryan is right because the "level of storytelling that the WWE has today, is the one of a kids show. It's horrible", as said above. Consistent quality storytelling hasn't occurred since 2013-2014. Nowadays, it's mediocre at best. Also, Miz did say something along the lines about putting your 100% and making promos the best you can possibly deliver, in a previous interview on Gorilla Position, but it's so hard to do that as face because material given as a face in this industry is so recycled and boring, and there are load of talented individuals like Seth Rollins who have commented that being a heel is generally so much easier. A recent example of this would be shown with AJ Styles who got insanely popular in 2016/2017 and the main reason was definitely due his heel run. So, it just goes back to Daniel Bryan's criticism of creative just being awful.
@ZulqiK
@ZulqiK 5 жыл бұрын
Asheeth Kumar K R Dumbest thing I've read all in wrestling. Stop being in denial and just admit that Daniel Bryan was insanely over, as well as achieving pops that are definitely considered Top 10 of all time. This guy's fans, every arena he went to, booed Roman and Batista just for Daniel Bryan. If we want to back track, after Wrestlemania 28, fans boycotted The Rock's promo as well the whole of RAW in order to see Daniel Bryan. So, please fuck off with your bullshit. By your logic, Undertaker's streak was over, not him. While The Miz is incredible but it's not hard to notice that he's not as valuable as Daniel Bryan because The Miz involved in anything lowers interest as not a lot of people actually tune in. Seth Rollins vs Daniel Bryan would draw more than Seth Rollins vs The Miz and it's fact but the views on clips that involved both Seth Rollins and The Miz never consistently drew millions.

inasmuch as daniel bryan complains, he still works hard at what he's given. miz is doing an excellent job staying in character and whatever he says on the mic is gold, but it's hard to deny both these men are extremely hard workers and probably where the true rivalry lies.

"oh....AJ Styles.... He's the longest reigning WWE Champion EVER! In The History!" Is he? I don't believe so just yet, as Punk reign is still longest at 443 I believe... I believe AJ's currently run is nearing 365... so I'm thinking he's gonna retain til Rumble and break it... and I think Miz is already preparing to be booked to be the guy to end his reign as longest reigning champion of all time (modern era) If he makes it past Punk's Mark so WWE can officially erase him from top spot, before survivor series... then I could easily see him dropping the belt to Miz at that point... WWE definitely looks like they're planning on ending it, I thought they were gonna do with both AJ and Lesnar, but Lesnar will have fallen just short of moving up the list and finished I believe they said at SS, at number 6 all time. But again, i'm pretty sure this statement is just simply inaccurate on Miz's part and shows lack of professionalism that he went on speaking about for most the interview, talking about being prepared... ( and I'm big Miz fan but... Realllly??? REE...aAALLLLYYY??? ) This how I see it going down though...Miz wins WWE title at Either Survivor Series or The Royal Rumble... and Bryan struggles up until Royal Rumble and wins from the the number one spot to face Miz for The title at Wrestlemania!.... I'm also somewhat thinking there is possibility they let Bryan go away and work some big indie matches for ROH and NJPW among others... under the story that he left after his frustrations with Miz and WWE.... but than comes back as surprise entrant in Rumble and wins it... and Miz complains as champion next night that he left and shouldn't have been allowed to be in the Rumble and etc...

I was so upset by the way Mick was criticizing him for his looks, like yes okay he may not look professional but who cares he can wear what the fuck he want's and mick is far too bossy I wonder what he says to his wife Maryse when she does not wear clothes that suits his needs!. it's called been controlling and if he really does this then he needs to change his attitude and the way of thinking because it stinks, I don't like him in wwe but I like him outside of it but again if he really like this then I say he needs to change his own views and treat people with more respect. you don't see me going around and saying to people that you need to change your attire because that's not me I'm not as rude!.
