They could have had one of the biggest stories in Pro Wrestling, had they all just agreed to work together. And you know that CM Punk, despite how much of a jackass he is, would have been willing to play ball. The problem is the elite (Really just the Young Bucks) are so used to being the kings of their little area of professional wrestling even before AEW was started, that they can't perceive the fact that they have to actually do something they don't want to do. Which is why they aren't big players in the grand scheme of things. And Tony doesn't have the spine to just be like "We're gonna make a storyline out of this and you're gonna deal with it." Then they had another opportunity at Gold, and squandered it. But I do think it's reasonable why they fired CM Punk. Yes jungle boy instigated it, but punk should have known that in that type of environment, getting in two fights in just a year isn't a good look. And completely overshadowed their Wembley show.

Which for some reason, a LOT of smarks wanted. His career was going nowhere post TLC 2013 lol, probably was just gonna feud with Cena for the next 10 years. He lied about injuries and killed Ryback's career. CM Punk is a weird and annoying old guy. He should just retire so we can all have peace, AEW and WWE.

What pg era kids won't admit is that Miz is the proof you don't need any talent in order to succeed in modern day wrestling, all it takes is backstage politics and social skills, which is kinda sad...

Listen, people have said things about Punk before. But no one who’s opinion means anything at all has ever suggested that he buries people. But let’s say for the sake of argument he did just that. Guess what? There is virtually no situation in which Miz should ever be going over Punk regardless.

Ahh the usual blind hatred. Complaining about Punk giving over Miz is like bitching about Omega going over Claudio

Punk is such a sleezebag he was worming his way back into WWE even when he was working for AEW that's why he went after Jack Perry 1 because he was smaller then him and 2 he wanted Tony to fire him so he can go back to WWE and he was setting the stage that night when RAW came to Chicago
