The MK4 GTI 1.8T finally gets an exhaust. 3 inch exhaust.

I probably should have gotten this mod earlier but I just didn't like the idea of a noisy exhaust.
Must have for better flow and the k04 needs it which is the next mod.
it's a 3 inch downpipe with a 200 cat, middle resonator which is tiny as anything, I want a bigger one, then on to the rear growl branded muffler.
Doesn't sounds have bad or tinnie like some cheap thing metal exhausts.

Hi there! I'm running a forge 007 DV, it does have a nice sound to it but that's just half of it, it was also running an oversized tip from creations motorsport which gave it a more whooshing noise and a high pitched release.

@@ajrveedub sweet, appreciate it! Just did a ko4-01 swap and I have the exact down pipe(dp not installed for inspection). Got a TIP, full intake, milltek muffler. Heard people saying going catless makes your cabin smell.

Oh I have a 200cell cat on it now, but even catless wasn't smelly. Standing outside smells though which I didn't like.

@@ajrveedub you should be able too, especially with a flex tune. I'm running the k04-001 from maxpeedingrods. I was running 25psi and flextune, was going to put 550cc injectors in.... But I feel it's too much for a stock 22yr old car. So Ive gone back to just 98oct, 380cc injectors and 22psi boost.... Still kicking 2007 250hp Audi tt ass and head on head with CLA-45 but only to 2nd gear at 120km.... GTI is definitely a street car. Amazing little cars. Keep the vids coming 😁❤️

I went miltek 4 inch to 3 inch down pipe then the miltek system is 2.5 sounds beefy as a cows fart
