I wonder how the UFC structures the pay for fighters who work on the desk too like Smith, Cruz, Ponzinibbio, Chito. Like do they get a separate check for that or is it like deducted from their fight purse.

I’m just talking out my ass tbh and just curious. I can see the UFC being like “hey if you commentate for us we will deduct it from your fight purse” so if they weee making 50k show money they’d deduct some of that and have it go towards paying them for commentary so when they do fight maybe they would make less to balance the speaking gig
