This is basically the exact kind of touchup I want Paradox to actually implement. The Balance of Power for Spain is a bit weird but yeah, if they literally just paid the mod creator for their work they could add this mod 1:1 into the game and Germany would be basically perfect in my opinion.

i had the same issue with the new soviet puppets. i think what's happening is the decision makes the puppets the controller of the states, but germany is still the owner. i tried to re-create the bug on a clean playset where i instant annex the ussr with commands but the bug didn't happen, so idrk

to be honest i find the Italian focus tree overwhelming. i also dont like the loads of negatives i find them to be just generally unfun to play with. its a good focus tree just to complicated. i like simple but fun focus trees. im not new either ive got 500+ hours i think the German one is fine for now could use a communist tree though.
