Well where did 60s hippies got their "peasant" bohemian aesthetic? Edwardian vintage clothes! 1960s was only 50-60 years removed from the corset era. So old petticoats, blouses and corset covers were around in thrift stores and got repurposed as hippie 60s-70s style. And now every 20-30 years the style makes a comeback as hippie/bohemian. i swear i wore this same blouse - probably also from AE! - in 2003 as a crop top with low rise flares and platform sandals. And now the fashion *CiRcLe Of LiFe* continues... 😂

I had a popular girl in my class and she felt like she was worth more because of her rich parents, I had switched classes and just got into the class. Dhe was bullying a girl from another class because she was on a low budget… I stepped in and I was said “You know you’re wearing vintage undies as a normal shirt right?” She was so offended and was like “wtf do you mean”. I showed her a picture of the type of corset cover she was wearing and she got so mad. As far as I know she never bullied that girl again because she got so embarrassed in front of her. 💀
