I do not know whether I can go to Delhi or not in my life time. But this man in grey is a fading gem. He should be preserved. Like the way he explains the things It's beyond any remark. This is from West Begnal. Sir take love 🎉 and Anand Prakash sir is also another gem. If I could deal of their stagnancy in exchange of anything.#mephistopheles

Slow, repetitive, mechanical, uninspiring, juvenile, parochial, disconnected. Can't understand all the praise. This guy didn't do ANY justice to this awesome topic. Get someone with knowledge and real scholarship.

This lecture is misguiding and very subjective... The lecturer gives statements and opinions without any facts. Whilst it is true that the Modernist movement is controversial, in its core lies the concept of a look into our inner world, rather than the outer one - a world which until then was masked by unquestionable dogmas and rules. What one felt, what one did, was seen through the lens of religion, of good and evil. Human behavior, therefore, was rigidly classified as either good or evil, without a grey area of any kind. The man-governed world, which was firstly created through mythology and then indoctrinated by religions, was now collapsing. Freud's psychoanalysis turned the attention from the external world which is conceptually governed by god, to the internal world which in fact governs our lives - our consciousness, our choices and values, our thoughts and emotions. I completely disagree with Barthes' 'Death of the Author', but I do acknowledge that attention must be paid to texts, their structure, form, figurative and narrative techniques, but of course, the author cannot be simply disregarded. In addition, stating that Nietzsche's 'the death of God' concept simply meant that 'god has abandoned us' is way too vague and misleading. I am not his supporter, but I believe he posed some fundamental issues that until then society turned a blind eye to.

IT IS NOT WISE TO SAY THAT HE IS MISLEADING. BUT I AGREE WITH YOUR OBSERVATIONS MENTIONED IN LATER PART

The first sentence of your comment seems to be affected by prejudice of self-praising. It means you are trying to grab the attention of viewers that is why you wrote a comment against the lecturer. One more thing that i would like to attend your attention i.e, you started your comment from criticizing him that shows your ignorance and incapibility to comprehend the thing. You like to learn not analyze the thing. That shows your level of understanding.

He sgares his education and experience with regard to modern movement ,he has documented fact in his history books with due references, yes ,blind religiosity too is anti science and reason ,we should respond to criticism clearly and reasonably and avoid indulging in mutual recrimination,at this age he makes efforts to accord first hand knowledge about a turbulent, less discussed age , notorious for wars 🙏🙏.
