It sounds really great but I'm not sure i understand what justifies the price point compared to other grooveboxes on the market.

It's a small, boutique company that can't afford to sell it for less. I'm not really hearing anything groundbreaking though.

It looks like an older gen Elektron. Pretty cool, but there is a lot of competition here.

Yeah fair points. I don't know how many they've sold but if it was a bit cheaper they'd sell very well imho. I also think the interface is too big with a kinda weird layout. Have heard Blush Response demo it and it really punched through, though.

No outsourcing to China - this is 100% Belgian-made. We are used to paying slave labour prices. To quote Modor's website: Not only our design is Belgian, but also all possible parts of the manufacturing are done by Belgian subcontractors, from the production of the metal enclosures to circuit board assembly. This allows us to keep close contact with the manufacturers, further ensuring professional build quality. But it's also a choice for reducing the number of kilometres our parts have to travel, and for fair working conditions for the people who do the actual manufacturing. The final assembly steps are done in our own workshop in Antwerp, Belgium.

I'd much rather we could parameter lock the steps or even have more than one difference between the A and B variants, but I appreciate for some a USB port may be more useful.

USB? For what?

Agreed. This is a waste of money. Digital but only 6 voices, not comfortable for live, few sounds which are uninspired and easily done with anything else, few options, extremely overpriced.

@@lstlvls2521 What's that going to change? The price? Increase the types of sounds? The growing Gucci priced digital hardware attitude that could potentially destroy the market for affordable hardware?
