Okay, so do you want to get technical? Because cheesecake is much more akin to a pie or flan than to cake. It fails to meet the prerequisites of being a cake. Cake is a sweet and delicious loaf of goodness. So if you want to be clever, you should be answering with cupcakes, brownies, or cookies instead; whereas cheesecake would count as a pie, and ice cream cake as an abomination.
