The Mole Season 2 Ep. 1-5 Recap - The Most Expensive Exemption EVER!

The Mole Season 2 has hit Netflix, and I recap the first five episodes. In these, we see four eliminations and a lot of money gets dropped from the pot. In my opinion, these were the wild first five episodes that already surpassed season 1.
Season 2 will see 12 strangers working together to complete a series of challenges with the hopes of adding money to a prize pot. However, among them is a player meant to secretly sabotage the group - the Mole, whose job is to prevent the group from adding any money to the fund. Throughout the season, all players must keep tabs on the people around them and test their intuition in periodic quizzes about the Mole’s identity: Whoever scores the lowest is eliminated.
Starting on June 28, new episodes of the series will drop each Friday up until the finale.

I’m rooting for Q, Neesh or Deanna to be the winner or the mole. They are the only players that are likable.

@@Funsunjoy yeah she’s my number 2 suspect, but I feel like the producers are putting a little too much attention on her to be the mole. There’s a lot of subtle sabotages that Muna did that the show didn’t focus on.

I LOVED the original seasons. Probably my favorite show ever. I even liked the celebrity reboot for their cheesiness and the one off season that happened later. I am still not sold on the Netflix version. The challenges are pretty good and the hosts have been ok (Ari is no Anderson) but the exemptions in every round just KILL it for me. Part of the fun was the comraderie and there's no way to have that when someone is blowing the entire pot (or nearly so) every round on an exemption. I'm with Q; what are we doing here?

Ok Ryan's response to Q leaving the first time gave it away. Y'all were right it's 💯 her. Also to clarify, my issue is with not just with having exemptions every round but with buying them versus earning them.
