Reo and chigir are my favorites the character development from them has made them extremely well written and I like their abilities the are very vital in a match especially chigiris speed which is essential on a football squad as a winger or striker and a jack of all trades in the mid field or a striker.

@@williamm.653 Seeing the pattern of the story, Kaneshiro sensei often uses unpredictability as the way to score the goal. From that info, I'm not too sure Chigiri can use rigid formula to score a goal again on future chapters ahead. We actually have one also that uses rigid formula, the MC himself, Isagi Yoichi, but the Mangaka found a way to make the rigid formula keeps on working, since spatial awareness itself is a skill that is open for creativity and possibility. On Chigiri case, it's different, his main point of this formula is that he doesn't want to pass to anybody. He solely run as fast as he can then position himself on his golden zone. In this method alone, he has just diminished some variables which are "off ball movement", "passing", "assist", and "cross" Now, without that variables, his plays become way more one dimensional than ever before, it's more precised yes, but a random weapon is better than a precised one (in this story, but it's still based on my opinion tho')

I mean its not surprising, despite Chigiri having pretty bad defensive stats Isagi is by far more innovative and has a more unorthodox skill set thanks to his meta vision. For chigiri to actually be considered one of the best in blue lock he’s gonna need a play style more like Loki’s who i feel like is gonna be a rival for him later on.

Yup, also I kinda afraid he got that "injury prone" trait too. Outside of the story, talking about external stuff, if I position myself as the mangaka, I can literally give him a bad ending way easier than any other characters, a tragic one without leaving any plot hole. The only shield he has is the fact that he's also "the poster boys" ("important character") of this manga. And that shield itself can be used to make the MC's story becomes way more interesting. What I'm trying to say is, he's the easiest character that can be a sacrificial lamb if the mangaka is stuck and got no idea what to write
