This is why I love Islam. Nothing has changed since the beginning of time. But Christian’s have changed their scriptures so many times (no hate to Christians you are wonderful people!). If all Qurans were burned, we could easily bring it back because all of the world’s muslims know it. It’s consistent and it’s had good practices. But most of all, it relates to science most accurately which is what convinced me to accept it. It knew of planet orbits and their moons, told muslims to clean themselves before eating and we discovered germs in the 1900s before science discovered it. As a woman, I’ve never felt safer after accepting the religion. Islam teaches to respect women, and women come first in Islam. Islam teaches to respect all, including prisoners of war. This is just what I’ve learned so far and I still have a long way to go!

Christianity does not spread thr same message. Jesus died on the cross to oay for our sins so that if we belive in him we can be saved and to have living faith you need works is what Christianity teaches. But islam says they did not crucify Jesus but rather Allah raised him up is what Islam teaches which means that you cant be saved by belief in Jesus if islam is true because Jesus would have never died. No, I don't think so, therefore I call this pillar a superstition. "It says keep up the prayer" the Arabic word salat means more than prayer, it means "connection (to god)", is it not wise to keep up your connection to god? Also the Qur'an teaches that god is a witness to all your actions similarly to what you said. We remember god and act accordingly in all our actions, our prayers are a routine reminder to make time to exclusively remember god. The prayer helps us remember god throughout the course of the day. The practices around prayer that might seem ritualistic or superstitious are a demonstration of intent. God knows our intentions, we like to show god we submit to him, by putting our head on the floor and respect him by being clean before prayer. We also follow the best of examples when we pray, Jesus/Isa, PBUH being one, as he put his head on the floor pray, and still eastern orthodox Christians pray like this. If you think about it we should pray as much as possible, the islamic tradition teaches us that it's ok to limit it to 5 times.
