This castle is just a few steps and stairs above Nuremberg's lovely historic city, shown in your video for half a second at 1:26. By the way, Nürnberg was the first city in Germany to introduce driverless underground trains in 2008 and this city is home to one of Germany's most iconic ex-champions, the well-supported club 1. FC Nürnberg, commonly known as 'der Club' or simply 'Nuremberg' outside of Germany, currently playing in the 2nd tier (by far too long now). The city also hosts one of the loveliest an most famous christmas markets in the country during wintertime. So, a Nuremberg match in the 2nd Bundesliga is definitely worth a visit! Maybe in December? The passion of their supporters (who have a long-standing friendship with Schalke supporters btw) is probably unrivalled in the state of Bavaria. It's much more vibrant than FC Bayern's support which mostly consists of glory hunters, regardless of the fact that people from Franconia would never ever call themselves Bavarians. Couldn't resist to be a smart-arse in the beginning of this comment, sorry for that. Thank you for another quality video, Josh! I hope you've overcome the Lazio defeat by now. Still proud to see Harry Kane playing in the Bundesliga even if I'm not very keen on Bayern Munich, living in the Ruhr area which is a completely different part of Germany. Not the most beautiful area of the country, much more populous and a completely different culture compared to Bavaria. But as you might know, there are plenty of notable football clubs drawing big support here and dozens of derbies in the West, Dortmund vs. Schalke probably being the hugest one. I'm strongly hoping that Schalke will be back where they belong asap!
