I had a horse like that when I was kid. Had 300 acre pasture and he would wait to see the school bus then run half a mile to my drive way to greet me everyday after school. I’d throw my backpack in the driveway and he bend his head down so I could put my leg over his neck and say okay bob and he would lift his head up and I slide down his neck. Then I spend then next few hours riding him or laying on his back sleeping. He was a Welch pony. My neighbors would frantically call my mom because I would sleep on his back, they thought I was hurt because I wasnt moving and I would never fall off because he shift his back to make sure I never fell off. He was the best horse ever. I got him for my 5th birthday back in 1980. My dad worked for Tyson’s hog farm at the time, he had a friend that sold horses and he bought 4 horses for me to pick one. He had them at one end of a hog barn same size as a chicken barn, and I was at the other end. When I saw the horses i started running towards them and and bob saw me and did the same we met basically met in the middle, I never did look at the other horses.
