I have called up a parish once and went on a general confession and it was beautiful. Confession is the best therapy. If God blesses you with a good spiritual director and you get a good direction, no matter what comes your way you’ll taste the Father here on earth. As a Catholic the best thing that happens to me and I’m still on that journey is finding joy in suffering and learning to suffer well.

The priest who celebrated the Easter Vigil mass where Tammy received the sacraments is Father Peter Turrone. He was my pastor at University of Toronto's Newman Centre Catholic Mission during the 2010s. I too was confirmed on Holy Saturday Easter vigil. That was the happiest day of my life. I picked Blessed Mother as my saint. By 2020, I was officially consecrated to her sacred heart and therefore Jesus sacred heart. All that awaits her and her husband
