I had June's Journey downloaded and didn't like it so I deleted it. My husband and I loved tent camping when we were younger but as we got older sleeping on the ground got hard for us so we bought a fold down camper then as time went on we bought a 16' travel trailer then a 20' one then a 34 1/2 foot travel trailer and bought a lot at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort and had it storm tied we never pulled that trailer. We camped from April thru October every holiday and every other weekend our kids and grandkids loved being there untill my husband had a massive stroke and had emergency brain surgery I had to quit work to take care of him so we sold out I miss camping.

In my mid 30s my husband, kids and I camped in a pop up and used the campgrounds restrooms. When the kids didn't go with us anymore, we used a bucket in the middle of the night and then the campground facilities. After a while we bought a fifth wheel with bathroom and that was the best. When my husband passed, I bought a smaller trailer, thinking I would see our friends, but by then I was too old to do it myself. I really miss camping. In the 60s, we dry camped in a tent on the Peco Rivers in NM with outhouses up the hill. After we were transferred back to NC, daddy heard stories of bears coming into the campgrounds. He was done with tent camping. They bought a trailer near the lake. I miss both.

Prayers for your sister.🙏🙏🙏💕 My sister-in-law was diagnosed several years ago with benign brain tumors. About 3 years ago this December they did surgery and removed 3 large tumors. There are 6 remaining. Her last MRI showed a couple of those have began to grow again. The seizures and different personality along with hallucinations have begun to return. So prayers for the family as well. 🙏🙏🙏❤️💕

OH MY GOSH! I am NOT a camping lover... not even a liker!! But, I DO love my son who wanted a tent for one of his younger day birthday. It was a NIGHTMARE -- all day long! After buying every piece of camping things, including a tent that sleeps 6, that first attempt at camping was our LAST! However, it gave us YEARS of giggles... from a nice hotel room! My sister and her family LOVED tent camping, even in the rain they just loved it. I'll NEVER understand that! I'm just glad my sister and her family got to do something they enjoyed so much!

Can you please pray for our family. Our daughter and her husband lost their first baby. She was 4 months along, and my dad is going to have his kidney removed on Sept 25th at the age of 79. My step dad has stage 4 lung cancer as well as bone cancer. The doctors can't do much at all for him. I first started camping with my parents at the age of 5 the last time I was camping I was around 45 I’m 72 years old now but I would love to go in your skoolie. God bless

I've been meaning to tell you - that potty has liners you can buy to go with it - they come in a roll like trash bags and even look like mini trash backs but each one has it's own insert/pad - looks like a swiffer pad but thinner and it completely absorbs liquid - which makes disposal easier. That's a pro but I guess the con would be that it creates trash whereas you could just dump the contents and wash the bin each time - of course if you don't have a way to wash it - the leftover smell can be icky - the trash liner absorber seems like it absorbs smell as well.

Been camping most of my life. Tents and camper. My parents retirement camper wasn't huge but it had all things needed. I had hoped to get one for my retirement years but with my arthritis and other things it's not possible. Who cared what the schooling looks like. If it woks and makes you happy that's all that matters. We spen the better part of our Summers camping one place or another. We knew every trail to the mountain tops an ponds and lakes. It's fun!

I have a van ..a cargo one i insulated it didnt get much farther along convertin to camper i do have a bed...my toilet is a bucket .i use bags and then dispose of bags..its maimly used at night ..wen ur 70 sometimes u dont get alot of warning time..anyway..it works.i could spend alot on composting one but i kinda prefer being able to just discard it..ur bus is fine

I was looking on marketplace this morning, and they had a “schooler” that had been transformed with skylights, kitchen, and it was really “souped” up a lot! Looked more like an RV than a schooler. The selling price was $90.000.00!! I like that you go simple. Guess depends on people, I guess. I’m not a tent camper either, can’t sleep on the ground, so I could go for what you’re doing.

Its in thr 50s here in the mornings, and only like 67 today so cold .bought dome corn blanched it cut of thd cob and froze in bagies don't leave on cob because sometime it has a different taste to it need to go get more to blanch
