승부욕이랑 1위에 초점을둔 한국형 리더 이창준팀장 최적화 전략하나에 초점을 둔 제이팀장 미션하나에 초점을 둔 요한팀장 팀에 초점을둔 월팀장 진짜 제각 팀장마다 색깔이 달라서 재밌다. 처음에는 윌팀장, 델타팀 입만살고 다른팀에비해 미션도 성적도 꼴등이네 별거없네 했지만 바꿔서 말하면 계속 그렇게 성적이 안나오는데도 팀내 분열이없고 팀장도 팀원들에게 필요한 피드백만하고 감정적으로 절대 뭐라고안하는게 진짜 대단하다고 생각함

Up to ep6, Jay is the best leader (imo) in terms of strategies, raising team spirit & analytical aspects. Go In Ho is the best team player. Top contributer in strength & strategy to the team, closing the gap btw teams. Kong Gi Hwan is the team spirit lifter, giving advice & create relax & fun atmosphere. Kim Chang Wan is very observant with above average strength. No. 1 Hong is the top strength terminator with a soft heart. Been encouraging & helping other contestants & team members. He has the leader potential. Imagine if these guys in a team.

But I just need to say, as someone who served in the swedish military for 3 years, this is how most of my experience with any command was. Calm yet serious demeanor. 진흙밭 차량 탈출 미션에서는 알파팀 이창준 팀장이 오판한 게 맞음!! 당기는 힘이 강한 사람은 당기고 미는 게 편한 사람은 뒤에서 밀었어야 하는데 이창준 팀장은 오로지 당기는 것만 옳다고 믿었음!!! 팀원들의 다양한 의견들을 물어보고 잘 안되면 여러 방법들을 빠르게 시도해봤어야 했음. 이창준 팀장은 고인호 대원처럼 그때그때 임기응변으로 시도해보지 않았고 자기 방식만 끝까지 고집했음. 그게 패인이었음.

델타 팀이 가장 언더독이라고 생각했음 구성 대원들도 대부분 하위 넘버 대원들이고 신체능력이 위주가 되는 초반 미션에서 크게 보여준게 많이 없기 때문. 그런데 윌 팀장은 정말 베테랑 중에 베테랑이고 천제 지략가고 날때부터 리더인게 느껴짐. 거기에 영어를 거의 완벽에 가깝게 구성하는 요원이 두명이나 있다는건 앞으로 있을 대테러 임무에서 상위권 팀으로 훅 치고 올라갈 수 있는 포텐셜이 보임

This isn't your ordinary Korean survival shows, most of which are actually semi-scripted btw. This show comes across as more "real" mostly because all the participants were former full-time military personnel. They just get stuff done and use their training to complete the missions. What separates this most Korean survival shows is the lack of cute sound effects and overly dramatic editing. It's pretty raw compared to many other K-reality shows.

Go In-Ho has continued to impress me since ep 1. First, he came in 6th during the 1st mission while wearing a suit & dress shoes plus the string of his bag snapping, then he was one of the first ones to wake up when he heard the truck arrive on their first night at camp. Next, he showed his speed & precise attacks despite his size during the 1 on 1 match. During the 5km march, he showed his strength & determination by carrying 2 bags and arriving first at the end of the 5km up hill march then going down again to help his team with the log. In this episode, he showed his smarts by placing the mats below the tires to make it easier to move the car. I hope he stays until the end of the show because I want to see more of him and what else he can do. In terms of teams, I'm rooting for Team Charlie and Bravo because I like Johan's and Jay's personality and leadership style as well as their team composition. I hope neither team will be eliminated in this mission.

Agreed ! Go in ho is one of a kind .. he is like those mysterious box , there will always be something new about him.. like a hidden trump card. Looking small and thin but definitely burnt with passion to win and equipped with smart brain and tactic ! He proved to everyone who think that he will lose if there is someone bigger than him in the fighting ring. He even brought 60kg worth of weight in order to help his team. Now, he is even proved to be genius in using his brain to solve the challenge / problems in front of him. I really want him to be one of the winner in this show !

@Imagine GUYS lol, no need to be rude - everyone has different opinions. I standby that jay’s the best so far, taking into account everything. It is debatable though because all’s great obviously. My view just changed after Alpha’s leader came up with an ineffective strategy for the car, then said in front of others that they as a team was fully at fault (when it’s really just his own strategy). Jay, on the other hand, has great strategies as seen in carrying the log where he refused to let anyone drop it and instead relied on changing shoulders. The car mission too. Both also showed his strong mentality where he won’t let seeing others progress further rattle him from his original strategy. This was the opposite for Alphas leader there. And lastly, seems like Alpha’s leader didn’t choose the stretcher which may just be the best choice for the hostage mission. We still have much left to see though so yh.

My favorite soldiers so far are Kong Gi-hwan, Go In-ho, Lee Gang Woo and Kim Chang-wan, they all caught my attention since the beginning with their strategies and abilities, would honestly love to see them work together in a team and see how they work together. In terms of teams, team Alpha was one of my favorites at the beginning, with their strong mentality and strategies, but seeing more episodes, team Bravo has really caught my eye with Jay's leadership and how they do every mission, I really don't want to see anyone get eliminated.

I started watching out of curiosity but suddenly realized that I've binged-watched 5 episodes. There are lots of life hacks you can learn (i.e. in Ep.1 - survey the scene when in an unfamiliar environment, and be prepared for possible events). I am also in awe of the team dynamics, how different tactics can be employed to successfully carry out a task. Best of all, I love how they are still so respectful of each other, and how they cheered for everyone despite being competitors. This show is great. I’m not one for these survival of the fittest type programmes at all, but this show is riveting, it has everything, cliffhangers, comedy, camaraderie etc. I can’t even choose a favourite team as I find myself rooting for all of them as they are all highly likeable & have so much heart. I love the body builder with his Yum cry it makes me laugh every time. They all have such an indomitable spirit and have huge respect for them all. Not to mention their physiques, the Alpha team standing there without their tops on were so impressive. Ooh La La🤣. I do have a certain fondness for Lee Chang -Jun and the very sweet & caring Johan they just seem so calm & dependable in every situation.

@@marb5110 I know right! Why isn’t this on Netflix. It’s a great concept. There are so many shows of this ilk out there, but somehow this just hits differently. Maybe it’s because all the contestants are so highly likeable & are all military pros as to why it seems so genuine. They really seem to be setting targets for themselves so it’s just not all about besting another team, although it is a competition and they are all hungry for a win. They all encourage each other even if on different teams & that is so inspiring & uplifting to see. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this show for me. I don’t think I’ve ever been so invested in a programme before & my heart is already breaking for the 3 teams that won’t win this competition.

There's also Steel Troops with a similar concept but the different special forces units are pitted against each other in challenges. I like The Soldiers better because the participants are all mixed up. You get to see the army, navy, marines and air force guys all working together.

공기환씨 현재 직업을 보면서 느낀게 개인적으로 좀 아쉬운 마음이 드는건 특수부대 출신들이 뭔가 전문성을 살려서 일할 수 있도록 국가에서 배려를 해주면 좋겠다 싶어요. 우리 특수부대 인재들 너무 아까워요. ㅠㅠ

그러니까요.. 청춘바친 시간에 비해 아까운것같습니다ㅜㅜ 정말 군인분들 이거보면서 너무 고생하겠구나.. 많이생각듬.. 우리아들들도 이런 멋진 사람이되길 바라면서ㅠ
