Mr. Richey, I cannot thank you enough for posting your history lectures on KZbin! I'm all the way over in Oregon, in college to become an elementary school teacher, and have a series of fairly intense history courses to take on the way to achieving my degree. The way that you explain things is engaging, never boring, and extremely clear. You have made history a much more fun subject for me! I'm 36 and in all my many years of school, including college, I never experienced such fun history lessons which actually made me want to learn MORE about a given historical subject. :)

Very interesting! I did not realize that Chile's flag also incorporated the "Bonnie Blue" single star emblem that had first been used during the West Florida rebellion a few years earlier. When I get around to doing a lecture on secession and the role of the Bonnie Blue flag, I will have to include Chile!
@wolliveryoutube
@wolliveryoutube 7 жыл бұрын
The Texan flag's blue banner stretches all the way down, while Chile's is limited to the canton in the upper left. Chile's flag also has a brighter shade of red, and originally the star looked different (and was not a star at all, but Venus). Chile's flag is also much older than the Texan flag, roughly by a decade or two, though, like the Texan flag, it was modeled on the flag of the United States.

The book says two things "Book" and "School" actually only Sch... boob covers the rest. So they were spreading knowledge. Gast was not religious, from Prussia, actually quite the opposite so the book was likely more about Horace Mann rather than Jesus Christ.

Let's talk about how immoral and evil and racist Manifest Destiny (and America) was! "For Myself (Ulysses) Grant wrote later about the United States war against Mexico, "I was bitterly opposed to the measure, and to this day regard the war, which resulted, as one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation."

Manifest Destiny carried on by white people, or better expressed by those particular European people, is what I'm thankful for. I don't think none of other ethnic groups from Europe or other place would've been tailored this exceptional country called America. Just imagine if that would've not been happened. The East of America would've been Spanish as well the West coast and the center of America occupied by France. South America, Spanish, Portugal, and UK in the south. If for some reason al those countries would've been gotten their independence from France, Spain, and Portugal, we all would've been fighting each other like in the Middle East, probably immigrating to Europe, probably even Islamists would've been mellowing in South and North America because remember that those thugs were expanding rapidly from north of Africa all the way to the Hindu continent and were attempting to go in Europe via Vienna. I just can't imagine. Thank to the God of the Bible for white people. Thank to the God of the Bible for America because from here the gospel took a huge momentum and is being spread all over this earth.

wow the level of ignorance is giving my brain a heart attack haha. no where in the Bible does God justify overthrowing a nation and in slaving the people a just and righteous thing. you should thank God that the white race as a whole isent judge for such Crulity to humanity. but of course it doesn't work like that... your Bible doesn't tell people to in slave Nation and do genocide without reason. it doesn't say abuse families and segregate people. I don't say to treat people like animals and hates them because of their race. it doesn't even say to focus convert them which was the least on their minds at the time yet you call it ok? white people, as you call them ;didn't colonize this world to make people believe in Jesus but to take what was not theirs. it's obvious if u understand the order of even and the history behind why they came.

the unification of America was for power only. not for godlness obviously this is during the same time that Africa was still colonized by multiple European countries and they didn't fight about it
@samuelmorales2344

@@komlat253 well of course they didn't make people believe in Jesus because the US was and still is secular but the moral impositions, geopolitics, and why they came to the North America turned into a idea, as these ideals to fashion a new type of state that would be the model for the world. It is a type of universalism that still exists even today in US foreign policy but it mixes with the geopolitics as to create inconsistencies because the world is not a perfect place. You are given a hand you are dealt with and must use with what you have. This explains why the US does not always support only democracies because such things are usually culturally contingent. Democracy for the West originally comes from the ancient Greeks and made more sophisticated by the Romans. In the mixing and mutation of Western culture, democracy is conflated with human rights. Such things are implicitly noted as morally superior which is a similar sentiments felt by American leadership throughout history. Because of the nature of emergence of the US, the US became highly decentralized, yet still managed to get a strong central government over time. The US was not gripped by the feudalism and aristocracies of the old world and post-colonialism as other countries. This is the another aspect of the decentralized start of the US.

Or you can just read chapter 13 of revelations. And I saw a second Beast (nation) with full power and authority of the first. The first beast is the papacy according to all the reformers. The first beast received his mortal wound in 1798 that same year France recognizes the USA as a sovereign nation. And arose the second Beast, who since has been working to usher in the image of the first beast. Know your history, the Monroe doctrine is part of the second Beasts goal of world conquest for the pope. Revelations is a book written almost 2000 years ago and it clearly describes what's taking place in our modern world.
