In the last month this commenter and reviewer just broke two OKC knives performing some very basic bushcraft tasks i.e. batoning. Wow. These were both knives that would have been relied on in the backcountry setting. Never again. Thanks to this review, and a few others, and following much salivating, a Steel Eagle Delta has been ordered. Many thanks for this fine review!

I really enjoy your presentation. You are specific and succinct. I'm in the northeast near Canada and we have rogue dog problems along with the fact that they have bred with coyotes (coydogs). This looks like a perfect easy carry solution for me. It takes a year in NY to just own a handgun let alone carry one. She is a real beauty here. Thank you very much.

At that point I'd want to move! People think I want guns to shoot people. Hell no! It's for rabid dogs that can't be reasoned with and thats legitimate!!!! I wish people would use that argument point more. It HAS saved people in that situation, though thankfully rare.
@Murtagh6532 жыл бұрын
@@ssunfish people who argue against gun ownership only argue in bad faith, it doesn't matter what facts you present them with. all anti gun people either do not understand that they are being lied to, or they are the ones doing the lying by intentionally misreading statistics, cherrypicked statistics at that, to control the narrative. rarely will you come across someone who is open to changing their beliefs around guns, people are brainwashed since birth by mainstream media and useful idiots in public positions, such as actors, into having an irrational fear of guns.

Fixed blade, full tang good for chopping, long enough to batten wood and that saw back is a thing of beauty. Looks like the perfect knife. The saw back is so valuable people don't realise. I can't stand machetes or axes. But bushcraft knives are too short with no saw back and crap at chopping bow drill spindle ends. Thanx

What is the purpose of the hole in the blade near the handle ?

It's either a hole to lash the knife to a long stick to make a spear or it is to be used to scrape a skinny firesteel. My guess would be the first option.

For your Education Gideon, the Relief within the Blade is Not about Weight Saving or Style at all. It's All to do with the ' intent ' of the Knife. The intent for this blade being an easy tool for a Soldier, ( ' Soul to Die ' ), to withdraw the Blade from an enema's Gut, Chest or Head, thanks to the relief being an escape port for the Vacuum inside someone's body! Once you stab another man's skull, he hangs on to the fucking Blade like it's King Arthur's Sword in Stone! The Relief reduces the possibility of that happening and makes a Horrible Fwipppp Noise once the Air from the outside pressure rushes in to the Wound through this port making it much easier to pull your knife out. Then Every time you hear someone slurping an empty milkshake cup in the mall reminding you of that horrid noise, you can nearly burst in to tears thinking about the enema's Family and how upset they were at seeing their Father and Husband look like a fucking chicken on a Shishkabob kicking and thrashing around. It doesn't matter that that he was only moments earlier trying to Kill you, He was Merely trying to Defend his Family and Home from a Foreign invading Force. The Finely Dressed Wealthy Men and Women who sent the Souls to die to do their Dirty work don't like hearing about the Killing that takes place in the War's they Organize and start. They Only want to hear about the End result from their Officers who are basically Politicians anyway. Fuck the Governments of the World! Nothing but a pack of Killers.

There is a knife that could eat all 3 of these knives for breakfast and its actually a bit smaller. It's the Dulo Viking knife made of the indestructible, easeally sharpenable A8mod steel. It's also a little less than $200 USD. I'd love to see it pitted against the traditional 'best' one tool option knives. I have only seen A8mod steel used on $500+ knives. Mostly over $800 ones actually. Just a thought as there is big demand for the Viking knife but almost no reviews.

Great knife. But I have better design. This one is just closest so far. Critique: 1. too wide and heavy 2. blood groove unnecessary, but also has sharp edges and it should be smooth to be slippery. 3. the rope is in the WRONG whole for chopping. But then I would have to explain the pivot point principles and stability. 4. the holes for tying up knife to stick to make it a weapon e.g against bears or for hunting, are Not set up properly. 5. Putting those Allen or Phillips screws is NOT scientifically better. It's just bad physics. They are worse than Flatheads and faulty. They were invented by hustlers who wanted to monopolize screws. How screwd up!
