The Montblanc Boheme was first introduced in 1999; an interesting Montblanc pen with a retractable nib! It is quite an interesting piece, made even more delightful by the various materials and design elements Montblanc used through the 16 years they produced this. The first two releases were the Noir et Noir and Rouge et Noir in 1999, and the last was the very photogenic Doue Moongarden in 2015.
The Montblanc Boheme Lacquer Pearl was released in 2005. It has gold-plated trims and cap, with an Akoya pearl on the pen clip. The cap and lacquer white barrel feature a delicate guilloche design that makes me think of roses. It has a handmade two-tone 18k nib and a very interesting cartridge installation.
I am very excited to welcome it to my collection.
