I only wish we had true music like this now! The garbage we hear today is profane dull, and mindless. The 60s and 70s held the greatest voices, and it's the 60s that brought us the incomparable Beatles....I long for those days, not just in music, but the whole attitude of life then. Simpler, easier times, that were gentle on the soul.....

Absolutely brilliant song. Wish I can hear things like this on the radio again rather than the Top 40 tripe we currently have today. No "sexy" backup dancers, no mediocre lead singers being half-naked or posing nude every damn time, all I need is just the singer/s and their voice/s. Take me back.

these songs and all the other classics have been sieved through time. you only think that music today is bad because right now we are experiencing ALL of it, as opposed to the few great songs that survived public scrutiny through the years. in twenty years there will be new classics, and people in that future time will be complaining just as you are today that music has gone "downhill"

This is why I stopped watching TV and listening to the radio. Today's "culture" is nothing more than canned garbage; from millennial "do-wop" to that irritating hip hop rap crap. Personally I just don't understand how people can go from 12th grade and even 2nd year university level of lyrics down to 3rd grade level and call it "great".Mostly, everyone is hooked on this crap. I hate going anywhere because it's shoved into my ears through PA systems and Musak; or big screen TV's mounted on the walls.

Ditto but they do....there from the days of the future past....clear your static so they can find you. Ive found mine I know I have and ironically enough not only do i know we shared a beautiful love many 100's of years ago we originally met in jr high school in this life...days of and last year he contacted me and said he'd take me for a ride on his new Harley. I had been praying to God for 3+ weeks for exactly that but God went one better. He sent me a boy from my past that I know is destined to be my future...I'm 51 and I'm telling you it is meant to be if you feel this song the way I have since I was about 3yrs old. He & I never dated back in the day but he did walk me home one day after my then bf left me waiting on him to walk me home at the 7-11 across the street from our school. Well its been a year since that ride and he's super busy & trying to comply with paroll conditions because he realizes how much of life he's not been present 4 with his kids his mom and I believe me too. Anyway we saw each other again this past weekend and I can tell you what I instantly knew last year is even stronger inside me then ever...he said and did things only a man would and could and in that reassured me without even knowing that I am right...or maybe it calls to him too and maybe he knew all along since jr high because he said he'd been waiting his whole life and for the 1st time ever...I actually believe in what a guy said to me. Good luck don't give up....you'll find the other part of your heart soon.

P.s. we live several hours away from each other and thats why its taken another year to see each other and he's not like most guys period...he never was...and now he's a man and if it takes another year or 10....I'd wait for him because I've waited 100's of years already waiting for our paths to cross so whats another one when you know he's the face of the man you imagine during the middle of this song but until a year ago he had remained faceless your whole entire life....

So magical. A sound so Pure and special from a period in music that delivered many rare and singularly classic masterpieces. Deeply touching.

Justin Hayward wrote this song at 19, Amazing, cuz at that age I was still figuring out what to do with my hands if you know what I'm saying...This song is on the soundtrack of my life along with Procol Harem "Whiter Shade of Pale". Wow got me reminiscing about my Loves and Losses.

I love a man from centuries ago. This song.... Was there when I was younger. We made love to this, knowing we had been together forever. My Mohican, my knight, my dark man. The one i would always wait for. Is.

Oh my goodness how I love this song. Absolutely Beautiful....Still after all these years and it's still as good as it ever was, if not better....todays music stinks. No heart and soul in the music today. It's all about profit... Thank God for the ability to record music of yesterday.

This has to be one of the best songs of all time in my book. Written by Hayward when he was just 19. The one thing I love about this video is how flautist Ray Thomas stops playing the flute before the flute actually ceases in the track. Its a track I never grow tired of hearing. Also taken from a great album Days Of Future Passed.

That was a standard of the day. Most of these things were dubbed with the "official" recording and the band just lip synched. Most people never paid that much attention.

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before. Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, oh how I love you. Gazing at people, some hand in hand, Just what I'm going through they can't understand. Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend, Just what you want to be, you will be in the end. And I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I've always missed, with these eyes before. Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you. 'Cos I love you, yes I love you, Oh how I love you, oh how I love you
