This song "月亮代表我的心 by Teresa Teng" is definitely one of the most classic Chinese song ever. I'm a 90's kid & this song definitely released way before I was born & as a Chinese, every time I heard Teresa Teng song it gave me goosebumps...I got to say their mandarin pronunciation are quite good & their cover of this song it gave me goosebumps too ❤️❤️ I guess there's no song more suitable than "月亮代表我的心" for Moonlight Chicken series

This is a old chinese song called "月亮代表我的心" (yue liang dai biao we de xin). I love how they made it modern and fit more for this series! The song lyric is basically someone asking how much the other person loves them and the person explains the small things they did that made them remember the person they love. I never know why the lyric is "Moon represents my heart" so if anyone know, you can comment down below! But kudos for them singing in Chinese ^^

There are a couple of lines in the song that goes: My heart is unshakeable, my love is unchanging, The moon represents my heart. I believe it means that his love is always there, just like the moon is always there in the sky, night and day. Which is quite interesting, as in Western ideology, the moon is considered as being inconsistent, because of its various phases.

But imagine taking Yoona cover version into this series, will it fit? Or take Bon Jovi cover version for this series, will it fit? Thus the reason why I said they made a new arrangement for the song to fit in more to this series (or should I say, they made a more modern version). You can try listening to the original 1977 song and compare it to this one. For me, it'll obviously be different from the song arrangement part and Earth, Mix, Khaotung, First, Gemini, Fourth added lots of uniqueness to the song, just like how every song cover have their uniqueness. Hope this explains everything :D!

I really love this song. It is very romantic for me and carries lots of memories of my childhood and youth. I grew up in California and many of my Chinese classmates were "restaurant kids" meaning their parents ran restaurants or worked in restaurants. One of my friend's dad liked to have our gang come to the restaurant to study at a back table. The dad always made us wonton chips and gave us cokes while we studied. This song was a standard that always played in the background.

Listening to this version makes me emotional and I expected no less. The emotions everybody are carrying while singing this song hits right through my heart. I'm not sure about the lyrics yet but it gives me hopes...that everything will be fine in the end. Each of their voices are wonderful. The efforts are clearly seen. From covering it in Chinese language itself is a big thing. I couldn't be more grateful. I'm now 100% sure that Moonlight Chicken will hit a big success!

I am so excited for this project. I knew that this project would be the best of the three series because, why? Of course, the chemistry of each character already tells us that they really work hard to achieve excellence in acting, and without a doubt, this project would be one of the greatest.
