I love this talk - I've watched it several times - so fascinating and informative. Thank you so much Seth and Mark. Best wishes. Joan Nagase, Manchester.

Just stumbled upon these videos. This is such a beautiful way to discuss science. 2 people, talking about some super cool stuff we have learned in a child-like, ego-free manner. That 69:73 resonance is insane, too.

Very interesting talk. And I love that you guys called this small moon "Hippocamp", so poetic.

I'm late to the party for commenting, but bravo guys. This is a great dynamic and one I can relate with when conversing with my friends on topics like this.... minus the space expertise on our end haha!

I've just watched the latest talk about Phobos and Deimos and ancient rings around Mars. It ended with a wish for exploring the ice giants. Well give us an orbiter of Neptune please.

We need to send an orbiter to the Neptune system!

Or better yet, have sent one decades ago. As it is, I wouldn't live to see it.

We need to build a Neptune orbiter now that Europa Clipper is finished building and about to launch.

I think a better question in the last segment is why are Mars rovers not being equipped with direct life detection experiments? I don't understand it. No one has come up with an abiotic explanation for the Labelled Release results in 40 years. Why send rover after rover up there without some kind of follow up?
@hardergamer5 жыл бұрын
I have been thinking the same! NASA keeps saying they are not ready yet. This may interest you on the Labeled Release Experiment... Event Horizon with Dr. Patricia Ann Straat kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5y3qX15oK-Mras

Maybe they have, NASA is not very good at telling the truth about anything. There is too much to lose if they were to tell the truth. All religions would be obsolete.

What is the mathematical reasoning supporting that a comet brought water to the earth, and that swimming in the Pacific is to swim in the juices of Neptune? Otherwise this is a great video

@@garywhite4104 the evidence I would think to look at the moon, it's all beat up. So is our planet. Asteroid,comet,meteors,they come from anywhere. I believe if it weren't for Jupiter and Saturn's gravity we probably would have been hit by now. Oumuamua came out of nowhere, passed our Sun,and just left. Some believe it was a scout sent by Aliens. Who knows?
