Syspension of food import duty for 150 Days will not affect cost of foods in Nigeria till next 100 to 150 Days which it takes for imported food to arrive Nigeria. Many nations are also importing so there us no special order to Nigeria. Importers has to also source dollars b4 importation.

Its a shame for federal government to distribute rice to citizens. One time rice distribution is not what the people need now.. They take their people so much for granted. Another way they will make money for themselves. Instead making polices to solve the problem they are lining people up to collect a bag of rice that they will properly consume in few weeks or days. Tinubu adm is distributing bags of rice, when 3/4 of the people are not able to eat once a day it will be on record. Your machineries and parts for the few available manufacturing sectors. Demand for higher wages by workers .Your infrastructures which includes roads and power generations. Those are some of the factors affecting prices. This are simple economy we learned in higher school. You guys need to stop being simplistic and simply repeating same talking points. You could also throws in insecurity .
