Look out to America and France to help Nigeria in building a new modern Armed forces with modern weaponry. Dont forget that Russia Putin has already entered West Africa and constitute a big headache in the region .The unfortunate thing with civilian governance in Africa 'ala Nigeria' is that they dont have the strenght to rein in Military corruptions at any particular time, hence many of the Military officers always dare the civilians to probe them .Nigerian Soldiers has always been used as an effective peace buffer all over Africa and to the various UN engagements .I am always encouraging Tinubu to seek help from the French government cause he is very close to the present French government. America is the best Nation to go for a help ,militarily but they will call you every minute to respect human rights and not abuse your citizens .Once Nigeria can stand against military corruption, you should use all resources to turn Nigeria Armed forces to a modern day befitting uniform men.

It is a shame that again we have missed a chance to use such a compelling topic to educate the public that when talking about democracy, the discourse should make the people the emphasis of discussion. Now, all I could hear the panel concentrate on is about the leaders. Until we create a system that lays emphasis on the people in both governance, decision making and policy formation then and then only we can say we are practising democracy. For now, we just have a dubious and corrupt voting system that installs civilian governments - not democracy at all.
