I remember reading about this on wikipedia years ago and laughing my ass off at how absurd it was. Thanks for making this high quality video about it, you defonately deserve more subs.

Enjoyed learning about the false Dimitries. Most of us in the West know very little about Eastern European history. Would welcome more videos on this line. Best of luck finding the grave of Dimitry II.

Thanks a lot! Yes, I'll take a look at some topic from Eastern European history, it seems to be an under-represented part of history in english. As for the grave, their no info in the internet and good luck to anyone wanting to enter Russia right now, so I think it might be tough to figure out if the grave survived. Thanks for commenting, hope to see you under the next video!

It took a Romanov to get things all settled. Excellent presentation, my friend!

Good to see you back here again! I experimented with a new way of making these videos, let me know if that will do. For this one, for the first time in a longer video I didn't have any script, but instead tried to describe the story without the exact prerecorded text. Hope it wasn't too messy, cause that really make the process a lot easier and more enjoyable!

@@APinchOfHistory Hmmmmmm.... I personally script all of my episodes and specials- the Ye Ol' Garage and VCH live videos are not scripted. I also am a native English speaker. However, I often find myself having to say the names of things in languages like French, German, Italian, etc. I personally find it much easier to get at least close to good pronunciation when I've got the script in front of me. In this video, I could tell that being that fluid/unscripted in English was a challenge. And it was well done, Sir! I suspect that if you continue in this manner of presentation, you will naturally become more fluent and be a total boss like Ed's Auto Reviews.

"Remember, it's Russia. Everything is possible." Even a Dmitry with four lives. All the best from Liz and Ginger (pic left) in Australia (where not everything is possible, but some of us try).

All the best to you both! Thanks for coming back, Liz!
