Can't wait to see the progress of learning here with each round, it is sharp leaning curve in this game. In the main menu READ THE TOWER MASTER'S GUIDE!!!!! Place defenses around the houses. Defending them pays you rent each new round! There's even an unlock for a haunted house to tax graves later game. Enjoy the mana game. Universities are OP and level individual defenses stats so you have snipers for each health, armor and shield.

Bleed poison and fire are all damage per second, the number is just how much they will take total form the poison/bleed/fire it is limited to 24 dps without upgrades

A couple of tips: 1) defense in depth; a) let your defenses closest to the tower level up some before you start placing forward defenses, b) you use less defenses if you focus on choke points until much later, c) in order to not overwhelm your choke points, make sure to have various lengths of paths such that mobs get to the choke points at different times, d) add forward defenses to separate paths much later in the map in order to soften targets before they get to your main choke point (by the end of the map, you will need a primary choke point, several other backup choke points, and some softening defenses; 2) use radars (set to health priority) and particle cannons (set to shield priority) at high elevation in the middle of the map for oggies; 3) you need over a 1k mana to maintain several obelisks late game, sometimes as much as 2.5k if unlucky on cards and using 4-5 obelisks; 4) if you can get past level 40, you are likely going to get to 45 (39 and 40 are rough ramp ups); 5) targets take damage in this order: shield, armor, health (put your defenses in that order on the path taking into account the defense's range). 6) tesla's and slow towers (set to fastest priority) have very limited range, make sure to place them higher spots and corners for maximum AE. 7) outposts add damage (done by any other defense) to whatever they target, use them in late game especially at choke points and closest to the tower.

1 depends. especially early on. Without large amounts of DoTs, any damage done early will just be regened, making "softening" inneficient. And if you have good AoE, trying to bunch everything up is king.

To start with, the DoTs don't do much on their own, each is capped at a small dps. Their primary use is to stop their relevant regen (poison=shield, fire=armour, bleed=health). However, as you progress you can unlock cards that will increase the max DPS of the DoT (not always a good idea as depleting the DoT too quickly can result in loosing the debuff) or provide buffs (eg, +5% crit against bleeding enemies).

since most of your towers are shooting at first its really advised to set your mortars to shoot something else the shells take a long time to land and once they get to the second path they are often ded by the time the shells land making all the damage wasted instead its good to aim for something like most hp so you are more likely to shoot in the middle of the crowd and use the aoe also houses, surround them with ballista it doesnt look like much money but it ads up the dot from things like poison is also less effective then it seems when it says 5000, thats not per tic, thats the total and you need a lot of time to actually do it without upgrades it can only do 25 per tick and getting massive numbers in that just means they will still be poisoned as they reach your base

The mortars seem to do much better damage to armor than the ballistas, so I would recommend setting the mortars to either enemies near the back or most armor.

Very good tower defense! The bleed,poision and burn numbers on the enmies is the total dps stacked up. It ticks down slowly with 25/sec, which you can upgrade. So the number can be missleading a bit :D

Pro tip Mana is awesome real damage booster, use the mana towers and mana siphons and banks are a necessity for those towers and a 3rd thing, the mortars are amazing in big groups just have tons of them for great dmg

idk if you know this already or not but you can manually upgrade different stats for all the defenses if you click on them, imo it’s much better to upgrade health or shield damage that way rather then relying on the cards that pop up

Interesting game, I'd watch at least a bit more. Question for those that do know this game - are the DoT effects actually good? I know they're amazing in most games, and 25% *sounds* like a lot. But it looks like they tick down so slow they don't do as much damage as it looks on paper and might not be worth it.
