I feel bad for Tokyo 2020 but it gave so much new memories to all of us. Also their effort to make all happened during pandemic deserves huge applaus and recognition. For Paris 2024, I wish I could be there in person. Amen

“We are the biggest winners” 🤦 every competitor is a winner already because of the very hard work each one had to do. More than that, you can't be “the biggest winner". Your comment first - disrespects other countries and second - has no sense. Oh these Indians, people from Philippines, etc...... You may say that they cheer up their teams. Well, it's partly true and false the same time due to the reasons mentioned earlier.

I was born in 1988. The first time I found out that something called the Olympics are held was Atlanta 1996...but I was too young and not that much interested (only remember a bit of the opening ceremony). Sydney 2000 was the first Games that I truly followed with interest, followed by Athens 2004. But both those seem like a lifetime ago. Best memories are from Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Tokyo 2020. Don't remember watching much from Rio 2016 because of time differences...also I had a lot going on in my life at the time. So, I couldn't really get invested in 2016. Let's see what Paris 2024 brings...

Thank you Japan for hosting the Olympic games during a worldwide pandemic. True to the Tokyo Olympic motto "United by emotion",💞 The fact that the challenges both organisers and attending athletes/support staff have to overcome to make this Olympic happen makes this is by far one of the most heartwarming and special Olympics in recent years. 💞👍👏😃Image if fans were allowed there to cheer on their country, the atmosphere at some of the events would have been electrifying.😃🎉 This Olympics brought the world together and gave us numerous memorable and touching moments. Congratulations to all the medalist, especially the young Olympians and small countries winning gold medals for the first time in different events. 👏👑👍Every athlete should feel proud that they have represented their country under these challenging circumstances! 👍👏✌ Stay safe and stay healthy everyone.💝

I wish that Tokyo could host again the Olympics, unfortunately the opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020 wasn't that big thing like in Barcelona 92, Beijing 08 or Rio 2016 because the pandemic... I bet that if Tokyo could had another chance to host it again it would be a big spectacle the ceremonies and the attending public at the events. Aand がんばってときょ!!

Although I think the games should have been canceled, Japan did an excellent job despite the constraints of the pandemic and bad weather. The athletes should be commended as well. Part of the aura of the olympics is roaming the host city, fraternizing with athletes from other nations in the Olympic village, and feeling the energy of the spectators from many nations while performing their skills. Those things were missing, yet the athletes put on a fine show night after night.
