What an amazing blessing of points ya'll have found. Love seeing what ya'll is going to pull out next. Their so different than we find here in the Ohio River vally. Appreciate you taking the time to educate us on the wagon wheel spindle. I give my brother a wooden wagon wheel hub that still had grease and metal hardware in it a few weeks ago. I found it in a creek in June. It is barrel shaped with the metal caps on both sides. All the square peg holes where the spokes attached to it are in good shape and identifiable. It is made of oak. Now I know what the spindle looks like if I see it. They would look good together in the rock garden in his yard. I'm a rockhound at hart,but I can't leave old stuff like that behind. Cant wait for ya'll to get back out to see what comes up next. Thanks for your time and taking us along with you.

Spike, you are the energy of your team! That was some beautiful finds and some awsome scenery. Is the Gary in the Adena family?
@HeartbreakerRelics4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tim. I've never been accused of being energetic till now! lol I appreciate that. This is what the arrowhead id guide says about the Gary points. Most points in this cluster belong to the Adena culture centered in the Ohio River valley. This point is not part of the Adena culture, but is included in this cluster because it correlates morphologically and within the same time frame and geographically as the other points.

Great Video! What was the point type Kenneth found at 4:30? I really like the way you've guys have started adding the point types and the period in which it represents. It helps me here in Central West Alabama with identifying points that we also have here,. There is a portion I personally don't see/find here that you guys are; however, it seems to be a decent amount of similar types. Regardless if we have the specific type here in it is really nice to gain knowledge while being entertained and I truly appreciate you guys adding this!

Have you ever had a landowner say something like, "Hey, yall, get the heck off my property!!!" while you are digging in the creek? If you own land with the creek as the boundary, do you own the creek too? Or half the creek? What are the laws on stuff like that?
