Instead of Messenger pf peace I use Gingerbread house that destroys ALL monsters with 1900 ATK upon adding additional 600 to opponents ATK. In this way I get rid of potential effects that can destroy my cards.

I use both. Messenger Peace stops 1500 or more. Gingerbread destroys 2500 or more.

If you build mikanko, run some negates like forbidden chalice and imperm, tribute their most dangerous monsters with things like lava golem and thunder king, you'll climb rank pretty fast
