I really enjoy your videos. I agreed with you when the Kano guy was spamming the throwing knives and did little else at all but this Ermac seemed okay. Dunno why you felt so strongly about him. I think running away is a perfectly good tactic. You control the spacing and attack on your terms. Instead of going at it up close when it just turns into a gamble of who does the safer or faster or armoured move.

If any of y’all are wonder what super is saying I’ll just clarify for you. Square is 1 Triangle is 2 Cross is 3 and Circle is 4 so when he says down 2 he’s saying down triangle. A 50-50 is a combo with both a low and overhead attack. A conversion is when someone kind of makes a combo out of anything so say if someone jumps over them they hit them mid air and turn it into a combo. Zoning is using a long ranged attack to keep the enemy away. An overhead is a move which means if they are crouching it will either nock them down or send them into the air. A low attack is an attack aimed at the legs used to open opponents for other attacks. So there you go that’s all the technical terms of MK that I can remember! Hope it helps you guys understand a bit more when watching his videos!

Not sure whats so specifically annoying about that Ermac player. I haven't played against many Ermacs but the few I have encountered were pretty much like him. Lots of zoning and keeping distance followed up with a few, safe 50/50's when you get close. These are the things to be expected from Ermac. He is just a really solid character.

I hate players that do this. It's one thing to zone but to run away the whole fight is just really annoying. Plus with the stamina being lower u can't really run in. So characters with no projectiles are at a huge disadvantage

A good player would respect the other players ability to block. He wasn't bad though, just needs to open up his opponents with stagger moves rather than running away and hoping for the best.

Shurf Lonly-Lokly It wasn't that there was something inherently WRONG with the way he was playing, it is just an annoying playstyle to fight against. Moreso for Jason, who has a hard time getting in. And when the projectile stuns you for a full combo, it just makes the situation that much worse.

It kinda has to do with Ermac being one of the best characters in the game. They guy was disrespecting so much but he was able to get away with it because Ermac is that good of a character. Shurf Lonly-Lokly in my opinion it's because the dude barely ever blocked and ran away the whole time. spacing is one thing but running away like that kinda shows how scared he was to get mixed which isn't necessarily a bad thing it's just not how most people play whenever they're good. whenever Super got in he woke up every single time but when super started blocking his wake ups then the guy didn't know what to do and got hit by everything because he didn't wanna block so he would jump on wake up or try to back dash which is yet another form of running away but I'm pretty sure the largest thing that bothered Super is he lost to him when he knew he shouldn't have.

Honestly, Super is the kinda player that is the reason I don't play fighting games online. The level of disrespect for less skilled players is so bad. Which is sad cause at won't point I got really good at fighting games (SSF4 and MK9) but just the amount of people "Tryin to catch them W's" just kinda ruined it for me. Don't get me wrong there isn't anything wrong with wanting to win but i just don't like it when people take games seriously, Like just play a game to have fun. I don't think the Ermac player was bad necessarily, he was just missing some necessary skills that are crucial in the game. He rarely blocked, and when he did, Super easily went for crouch attacks. And he high key, bitched his way out of Supers decent combos using combo break. Hell, I wouldn't have been surprised if he combo broke by accident. Overall, when you come down to the facts, he had some great combo game. But defensively he was a sissy. He didn't try to block and you could tell that he was only thinking about the now of the fight and not the possibilities ahead.
