To me the worst fans are the one who try to deepthrote POLITICS into EVERYTHING like a few weaks ago a dude on tiktok made a whole rant about how spiderman across the spider verse had "forced diversity" and there's even a dude on KZbin talking about how the movie was "copaganda" i realy wish i was making thie up and like the worst part is that some of the comic book writers are like that! Like, no, everything needs to be political! Edit: I worded this very poorly. I HATE it when "fans" cry about things being "political" when they themselves make it like that by starting to complain about "forced diversity," such as women and people of color, or things they don't agree with. It's even worse when those "fans" start attacking and harassing the staff/creators. And it's even worse when that hatred is targeted towards children (yes, sadly, this does happen).

As someone who is a fan of the MCU, I will be the first to admit that neither the films, the shows, or even the fans are perfect. There definitely are problems for sure. For me, the MCU actually encouraged me to go out and buy the comics especially characters like iron man or black widow since they were two of my favorite characters. Course I think what helps is that I was a fan of marvel before the MCU so I have seen other interpretations of these characters some of which I think are better than the MCU. Like personally, I think spectacular spider man is the best interpretation of the character. I don’t hate Tom Holland’s version, but I think the spectacular spider man does the high school angle a lot better and it has a great balance of his villains.

Ngl I was a normie, but growing up I was introduced to superhero media via the raimi spider man films, Micheal Keaton’s Batman, Christopher reeve’s Superman movies and phase 1 MCU films and I was into watching stuff like Top 10 Nerd Etc and that made me eager to get my hands on comic books and now almost 10 years later I’ve finally gotten myself into comics but I’ve never been one to shout absurd ideas I just wanted to share no way I’m saying your calling me out or anything just felt like sharing btw ur hilarious I subbed yesterday

He’s overrated, if he really cared for Gotham then he would give away his money, this vigilante character is better than him (cough cough live action Green Arrow cough) while they just gave him a show and gave him mainly Batman’s villains and traits to make interesting. 2. She-Hulk fans This show is just awful and unfunny. 3. @@trevorhoffler-xu5bq I used to be an Arrowverse fan from early in its run till around 2016. It had its moments like arrow s1, s2, and parts of s5, and s8. Flash s1 and s2 and Supergirl s1. Don't get me wrong but you said it yourself it WAS ON THE CW in the 2010s. The CW even now in many cases still won't evolve 20+ episode seasons, the overreliance on relationship drama instead of story focus, and specifically around the Arrowverse shows team expansions that ALWAYS make the titular hero look incompetent. How is Oliver who was trained by the greatest assassin in history according to the show in Ra’s Al Ghul (who is a CORE Batman villain created by Dennis O’Neil and Neil Adams to be his Moriarty you can look it) getting beaten up by random renegade cops and another Batman villain in Anarky when he beat both Thea and Oliver at the same time. Oliver had no business fighting an opponent like Darrk when he uses a bow and arrow, that's out of his league. They had to use the cheapest way to film magic too with the hand movements and everyone stopping just to showcase even more how Darrk was too powerful for Oliver. Barry kept letting villains get away when he could easily run after them and capture them before they even knew what happened. I will leave you with this how is it that in s2 of Arrow Sara Lance told Diggle to stay out of the fight with the League because they made him and the rest of the Army Special Forces (Green Berets and Army Rangers I believe) look like kindergarten cops. Just for Jefferson a failed high school football player in Legends of Tomorrow to knock one out with one punch and he wasn't Firestorm at the time so he was regular. Massive inconsistencies like everything else I have mentioned is the reason why I dislike the universe now.

@@FriendlyBatDoom you're definitely right about all of that..I guess i just kind of give it a pass for a lot of it lol...they were always so limited, whether it be available characters or budget. Arrow itself had really high highs and unbelievably low lows, but as far as the universe went, everybody starts somewhere and it's not like there was a template that already existed.. what they did was really ambitious. I always wanted to see the next incarnation of the arrowverse take place somewhere like Max where they would have more money and resources, I thought maybe they were doing that with Titans but never happened..

Dick Grayson was acting more like the bad Batman stories with trust issues and not hopefully tongue-in-cheek Nightwing, outside of barely transforming into an animal he was barely in the show as they didn't know what to do with him, Dick never knew how to handle a situation he just always had someone he knew that could fix it, Batman was poorly cast and had everyone talking down to him from Barbara to Dick to Starfire, Hawk was a dumb*** who was always talking and giving his opinion, Donna Troy was handled horribly, what the heck happened to Rose, Jericho, and Superboy’s mom after s2, Scarecrow was a AWFUL villain for them, the CGI was horrible, ALL OF S3 WAS TRASH. My point is Titans was all about easter eggs and name-drops from Roy Harper to Superman to Wonder Woman. The writing in Titans was also bad because it had the Arrowverse creator Berlanti and the DCEU destroyer himself in Geoff Johns helming the project and their writings are FAR more bad than good. All of the things I mentioned were only scratching the surface of Titans' problems.

i agree on your point about superhero fatigue. i thought i’ve been feeling it for like 2 years now but really the only issues ive been having is that i never branched fully into dc. i stuck mostly with marvel animation and movies but the movies have been declining and animation was never their strongest suit, it wasn’t until i started playing lego games recently funnily enough to where i got nostalgic for lego batman and thrusted myself into dc animated movies and cartoons. i’ve always been a flash fan but i never went t any further than the early seasons of all the cw shows and a handful of the worst dc films. i’m disappointed ive been missing all of this the whole time because superman, the robins, the lanterns there’s just so much mythos that i never really opened my mind to. dc feels so much more fantastical and less like all teams are at odds all the time as marvels dysfunctions tend to portray. the justice league at their best feel like good friends and even at their most average they feel like a well communicated force for good. i love what these heroes stand for arguably more than marvels

The thing about superhero fatigue is that it's not the comic fans (the people how read the books or have been fans since childhood) we will always love the content of superheroes if there is a batman movie while watching it immediately regardless.
