Minions summoned through reborn only have properties that are on the card text and buffs like Anub'Arak undead buffs. Divine shield from Suprise is neither of those

It never worked or was intended to work that way. If you look at the golden bramble text it doesn’t say divine shield on it, so it’s always been treated as an enchantment

Wait what? I'm pretty sure Bramble never got reborned with Divine Shield, because the Divine Shield is an augment, not a part of the minion... Horse was the only unit that did it because it said so...

That’s correct. It has never reborned with divine shield regardless of whether it got the shield from surprise. I’m pretty sure I tested/ verified that the first week hag came out

@@ImJoegath I think you're mixing up reborn with cultist resummon. Cultist used to resummon Arid with enhancements like divine shield and reborn. But when Arid itself died and was reborn it was without divine shield.

if you tripple with the surpirise elemental it is technically written on the card text. as in you combined two normal and a divine shield unit into a tripple. Anyhow reborn *elemental of surprise* tripple used to bring back the minion with divine shield.

If you had a plain surprise and reborn it it has shield. The triple is comprised in part of that unit. It makes sense to come back with shield and it did used to work that way. I think they probably did change to follow the card text rule you're saying, but that kind of breaks the normal interaction of tripling
