You are very special and you certainly deserve this honor. Love your ideas and presentations. I do think you need to search out care for orchids. My sister got one for mother’s last year with instructions to water with ice cubes. Her orchid did NOT like it at all. So she investigated more thoroughly and found ice cubes should never be used. Instead water from below, drain thoroughly. Her orchid is thriving now. Good luck with your orchid.

OMG, what a CARD! Great fun fold, but oh, how it's decorated ... Thank you só much for sharing all this, Susan! i hope you can find the flower dies, also the dies from the little "daisies" on the back of the card. That ribbon is awesome, too. Wow. Looking forward to your CASE!!! The orchids are beautiful. Remember that they originated in hot and humid rain forests, so NO direct sunlight. My mom ánd mom-in-law are very good with orchids. They mist their plants daily. Indoor plants and I don't go together, but our teeny tiny garden is a sea of color!

The card is so lovely. I contacted the design team at Stampin' Up! and found out they used the Translucent Floral dies for all the flowers front and back!! Thank you for your advice on the orchids, hoping my inky thumbs can keep it alive LOL!!!😊

Congratulations Susan. Orchids are pretty easy to look after. Try and keep it in a sunny window. As the container is quite large - Place 6 to 8 ice cubes in the container every week to 10 days. I usually use 3 for a single plant. Once the flowers die back check on how to prune them. Then keep it in the sunny location and continue the ice cubes. They will flower again. My sister has had her plants for over 10 years. You can also buy liquid orchid fertilizer. I purchased mine from Ace Hardware and add a couple of drops on the ice cubes.

So happy for you 💙💙💙 you do deserve it. Kindness attracts kindness 🥰 Orchids love light but not direct one. Close to a window with a thin curtain is ideal. If your air is dry you may want to spray the leaves only. If there are inner pots you may want to immerse them quickly (1 min or less) once a week and let them drip before putting them back into the main container. If not, then water them (very little) once a week with non calcareous water ( I use filtered water - Brita filters if you have these in the US). No draft. No water at the bottom. Voilà! My own orchids re-bloom every year and one even several times a year (but I think the big ones would bloom only once a year). After the flowers are fallen, cut the stems 3 knots 1/2 above the earth. You are so deserving! Congratulations! Orchids don’t like direct sunlight but love a north window light! As to watering, don’t over-water and don’t let plant roots set in water. Thoroughly water pot but then drain off excess water so there’s no water in the bottom. After blooms are gone, continue watering in same manner. Good luck and you’ll get blooms again in about a year. Again, Congratulations! I love your fun fold cards!

Congratulations Susan, your cards are always so inspiring! Putting your orchids near the window in your kitchen is the ideal place for them. I have been experimenting with my orchids and I now have flowers ( they haven’t opened up yet) on one of my plants and a new baby orchid plant on another plant. After watering the plant ( and letting the water drain) feed it with a small amount of diluted yellow orchid food after each watering. Light and some room moisture are key. Good luck!
