He made a mistake in the very beginning. There was a rap group before there was BTS. That was the group RM, Suga and J-Hope was initially chosen for. With three other members, Iron, Supreme Boi and Kidoh THIS was supposed to be the hip hop group. But Bang PD-nim changed his mind and wanted to make an Idol group. Mr Bang told Suga no dancing for the first group, it wouldn't have made sense for him to tell him that when forming an Idol group. Iron and Kidoh left to do their own things and Supreme Boi joined BH as a producer. Suga was going to join BH as a producer as well but Mr Bang convinced him to stay with the new group he was going to form with the three left.

Yeah, it really pisses me off when people say "Bang PD LIED" - uhhh, no ... the original intention was a hip hop group with no dancing. He wasn't lying to Yoongi to be shady and manipulative. It's just that things changed. Yoongi knew FULL WELL he'd be dancing once Bts was actually formed and they signed contracts.

I don't think that would count as a BigHit group though, they were trainees with the rapline, they didn't debut and didn't have a group name, some stayed as producers, others left for other reasons.

BTS wasn't the hip hop group, the first team was. BTS was the Idol group. Suga was told no dancing for the hip hop group not the Idol group because that makes no sense. That's why the first group is important because the guy messed up the facts between the two groups.

*▶Jimin had NO vocal training b4 Big Hit* He won hometown Busan audition (named "Rising Star Of Busan" by l8cal media at 15), moved to Seoul mid-2012 as a trainee for 6 mos (?!?!!?) +watched them/got to know them, then co. added him to BTS..He only had *6 MOS. training w/them* b4 June 2013 TV Debut!! ▶He trained crazy hard to catch up, on vocal + dance training. Tho he began in Hip-Hop +won teen Freestyle Hip-Hop Battles (using down-muscles), he was #1 in Dance School for Contemp. dance 2 yrs (using up-muscles), so he had work crazy hard to re-train his (down hip-hop) muscles soo fast (Idols usually train for years), that he always *felt* like he'd get kicked out (soo little time), YET debuted as MAIN Dancer along w/JHope) + LEAD Vocalist w/a natural heartbreaking, unique voice. ▶He's a more relaxed perfectionist now, but he always worried about his voice, always felt he was catching up + espec. while touring so much, didn't get much add'l voice training, espec. needed cuz he goes 110% when singing *and* dancing!. Covid actually gave him some rest to train further + he sounds better than ever!! ▶He's the only Asian w/3 Solo Songs hit 130+Mill. Spotify streams each, broke Drake's Soundcloud record, etc + has World-trending Solo Dances showing his 2 Black belts/High ranks in (#1 in Martial Arts School) *4* diff. styles, Boxing, many Sports, Stunts +Acrobatics w/core power, yet graceful + emotional skills (WHILE also #1 in Academics > Math + Chemistry +Science Whiz-formed own unique Math formulas, Artistic, into Robotics, Valedictorian, Class Pres, 9x + much more). A little trivia, when J-hope wanted to leave BTS JK cried so much coz he doesn't want J-hope to leave. He even slept beside J-hope crying that night and J-hope felt guilty that JK was crying so he decided to stay. When JK wanted to leave BTS because he misses his family, Jin's love made him stay because he was treated like a real family at Jin's house and also Jin made him feel that he has a brother in him. Even JK's elder brother's bias is Jin. V & Jimin were HS schoolmates and they were friends way before they becae part of BTS. Their song Friends is actually about their friendship.

Actually Jimin did not have singing training before joining the Bighit. Also, he could not have vocal coaches during trainee time...he just had to watch the other members being coached. His trainee time is about 10 months while majority other members were in trainee for 2 more years before he joined the Bighit. All the hardship all the members went through, though...most of them were teenagers...I felt so emotional when I think about. Jungkook was only 13 or 14 years old when he joined the Bighit...

Hi! Just wanted to tell you that some ARMYs were getting a little mad because they said this video has some misinformation of J-Hope and his career (although I’m not sure that it was deliberately, tho the author of the video already said multiple times he is not going to correct it). Smth about Hoseok not wanting to be a trainee for JYP and just auditioning to enter a competition which he won. They also said that Hobi joined Bighit because the head master of the dance academy he attended for 6 years contacted Bang PD to connect them and Hoseok signed the contract to be part of the new hip hop group even before RM and Suga did, just that he traveled to Seoul 3 years later. I think that’s all. The fans are J-Hope stans and they’re a lot of people with a lot of evidences and links to prove their information is real, but I didn’t really read it yet so I can’t say. Thought I would let you know about it, apart from that I don’t think anything was being pointed out as incorrect uwu

Actually, JK was 13 when he signed onto BH. He stated that he signed on in June 2011 in BTS New Year's vlive (I think it was either their 2019/2020 one), which would be before his 14th birthday. And SuperStar K aired in early 2011.

I don't know why The Asian Theory first put up the photo of Bang PD (in the eyeglasses), not mentioning his name... then suddenly switches to the photo of present-day YG (Yang Hyun-suk), saying his name, of YG Entertainment (the agency that the girl group BlackPink is under) & then shows a clip of young YG. It probably has confused many a viewer who knows nothing about them thinking that Bang & YG (or Bang & Yang, heh) are the same person. Also, the tables have turned, Bang's net worth was nothing compared to Yang's, a decade ago, but now Bang is worth around $1.4 billion usd, thanks to his properly managing BigHit, while Yang is around $160 million usd. There's more to the Jason Derulo stuff (Idk if anyone said already), but it sounds like Capital Records only asked Bts to do the song because Jason had stolen the beats from the original creator, Jawsh 685. This way, they could sign on Bts to the song and also give credit to Jawsh (and not get sued!). So it sounds like Jason Derulo never wanted them on the song, yet Bts signed on and THEN he got the #1. But he basically stole music from another poc, what a lowlife he is.

This video is great because it's mostly correct and just focuses on the members and then album releases. As an Army, I think the dark parts of our history are important for others to learn - for ARMYS to learn, but for the casual listener, this video is nice without going into the negative stuff that a new stan or casual listener would want or need to know. I think Armys need to know the truth, though, because it's a big part of who Bts are today.

They were thriving during their rookie days but sadly the kpop industry felt threatened and tried to downplay, hide their achievements, and created accusations and false informations just so other big groups gets to stay on top. BTS were MINORS at that time and had to endure the hatred and mistreatment they recieved and are still receiving.

It's a famous myth. J-Hope never supposed to be vocalist. Even he himself said how he started rapping in the beginning of his trainee period
