This is one of many beautiful solos from Metallica. Sanitarium solo after the verse is another example and so is Orion's bass solo, Fade To Black intro solo is also another example, so is One (after the chorus riff) as well as The Day That Never Comes at the beginning. Master of Puppets clean riff (bridge/solo) is also what comes to mind as well.
