I investigated the Impreza after getting the R version to see if it was in fact, the conversion kit included, or a different design. It is a more efficient design. Kyosho found that body fitment issues present with the conversion kit were not good for the Impreza or the Datsun, so they changed a few things to make the body fit better. There are also 2 versions of the Impreza

Okay okay, i bought it [Update] Got my new FZ02-R this past Wednesday, and this thing is an absolute blast. Not the fastest, but very agile and drivable. This is an excellent choice and definitely destined to be a classic. The fun factor is very high, and it's not like the other fazers. This car ROCKS

Buy this if you dont prefer building, and buy the Tamiya version if you do prefer building, either way, it's a shelf queen. No shade towards those collectors, having these companies compete is great and provides more scaled historic RCs for your collection 😁😁😁

Buy a second body and that’s all… Today RCs are so so well designed and built, parts are so cheap, it’s a total waste to not ride them to me. They are so cool……… We’re living an amazing RC era. They needed to release the body with a different chassis. Something is off. Overall Kyosho has a good line up.

Fazer comes in kit form and you can use Tamiya bodies with the Fazer chassis.

FZ02 Short chassis just means it has the shorter wheelbase of the two different fazer platforms, where the FZ02L has the longer wheelbase. The wheelbase changes the vehicle driving characteristics slightly, and also effects which bodies will be compatible on that chassis platform, if you want to change the body. -Brett

I have the Subaru Rally MK2 and use it on road mainly, You can lower the body posts so the body doesn’t sit too high. And whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THE CENTER SHAFT UPGRADE! It’s pure trash and wobbles like crazy, check out the videos reviews on it.

I don't believe so. You don't have to show your ID card when purchasing it. It's just recommended for advanced users. It's a serious vehicle that could cause a lot of damage or personal injury if improperly used. -Brett

Man you must have some tough skin if you can hold your finger on a 160° motor for that long :-)

It's pretty hot, but manageable. 180° is near the finger limit and where you can't hold onto the motor anymore, or maybe only for a second or two. Before temp guns were cheap enough to won, the motor temperature rule was: if you can hold your finger on the motor can for 3 seconds, temps are ok. But if you have to pull your finger off before 3 seconds, it's too hot. -Brett

@@AMain_Hobbies interesting. In my experience the maximum comfortable temperature is more like 140 and physical burns start around 150. But I guess it just depends on how thick the skin on your fingers is :-)

well its very nice looking but kyosho its 2024 and the look killer is no inner fender wells, it kills the look, and it will be full of trash. but i will say i have an original 1985 optima all stock still going , may just buy a new motor instead of brushes by the case lol. the body is awesome
