just a tip, don't use 5 m depth setting for all torpedos. For bigger ships, set the torpedo 1 meter deeper than the draft, use magnetic piston. For smaller ships, set torpedo 0.6 draft depth, use impact piston (unless with bad angle, then use the magnetic piston)

Can somebody confirm can you run this game on steamdeck? With any mod or without?

"Vanilla SH3 works perfectly on steam deck out of the box. You don't even have to mess around with controls since you can do pretty much everything with the right touchpad and right trigger (mouse and left click). Zoom controls for the map are bound to the shoulder buttons, free camera movement is done with the D-pad and anything right-click related is done with the left trigger. Since its an older game with mid 2000s graphics it uses the battery very slowly as well. I don't intend to buy SH5 but I will buy SH4. If you're interested could come back with an update on that.
