Interesting that the first clarinet played all three of the solos. They’re all in the first clarinet part, but typically the 2nd clarinet plays Eb in the last movement and the 1st clarinet takes the 2nd part.

That's correct but then the situation is not ideal since the Eb needs to wait on the stage for 4 movement without doing anything so we tried it that way this time, it worked out pretty good:)

80年代以降クラリネットの音に光沢がなくなってきたのはとても残念、アンサンブルが雑なのは指揮も悪い、そんなところでスコアをめくるな。

I think we need to rate instruments. For woodwinds, clarinet is definitely B tier. Flute A tier. Piccolo C tier. Bass clarinet A tier. Contrabass clarinet S tier. Oboe is C tier. But bassoon gets B tier. Saxiphone is D tier. C tier for barirne sax. F for soprano sax. Any disagreements? I'll do brass and strings another time.

Soprano sax is like A or B tier in my opinion. Piccolo would be B tier because I have a bias for smaller instruments. And oboe would be A tier because I play it so bias there
