Justin!! Flanders is one of the most famous (and bloody) battles in Europe in WWI, it was where the Canadian poet (Lieutenant-Colonel) John McCrae wrote his poem "In Flanders Fields"! (for context, he was an officer during this battle and was left broken by it, the battles of Flanders Fields were during the battle of Ypres, over a hundred fifty thousand British and Canadian soldiers lost their lives in this brutal slog.)

I'll always see the Sikorsky H-34 as the larger, younger, war-crazy American cousin of Harold the Helicopter from Thomas the Tank Engine. As Harold is based on the Westland Whirlwind, the British license-built version of the H-19 Chickasaw, itself the elder model of the H-34.

At some point, check out the Wasp HAS.Mk.1. It recently received the AS.12, a 7.00 km ATGM, along with a hefty .7 BR increase from 8.3 to 9.0. It'd be a video pretty similar to this one in terms of launching two missiles then rearming, so I suppose save it for practicing jump cuts again.

There is a simple fix, limit the close heli pad to infinite repair, only one resupply, you can resupply infinitely at the further helipad, then at cetain br, just disable resupply at nearest helipad and 1 resupply at the further helipad

Justin stop dropping your collective to 0. It is very bad fpr the helicopters rotor and you lose a lot of RPM doing this. Best way to lose altitude is to bank to the side and lower collective just a bit

They should really add BR variations for ground-pounding ordinance. This thing would be fine at 8.3 or 8.7 with the bullpup, but without it, 7.7 is fitting

Sometimes I feel like they should just remove SACLOS from a lot of those helo ATGMs although that would make low tier helicopter grind even more brutal. Things like the AS.11, Rb 55 and this Bullpup are technically still MCLOS afaik. They just made them SACLOS for uh...reasons? Maybe because it's technically not the pilot controlling them, who knows.

serious question: Are you really surprised War Thunder isn't historically accurate? Besides, the H-34 is at 7.7, where the vehicles it faces are from early to mid cold war, so it would be historically accurate, if anything, the H-34 is fighting vehicles several years newer. The only case where you'll find WW2 tanks in an H-34 is in a full downtier If WT stuck to historical accuracy, a lot of vehicles would be straight up unplayable

This has always been an issue with modern warfare.. maps way to small, spawn kill made extra easy.. a lot wrong for use with modern tanks! I think up to 6.7 okay, bit everything above should have maps that grow so they can release their full potential and call it realism

Yet another BS weapon. If the aircraft sight was actually based on 1950 technology along with a missile designed in 1954, it would be virtually useless in an anti-tank role. There was no magnification, definitely not stabilized, no pretty hi vis colors, no nada. The best accuracy achieved was about a 33 foot error probability and that's from above, diving on the target, being guided by mk 1 eyeballs and a small joystick in the cockpit.

1) The H-34 definitely needs a reload increase on the missile in ground RB. The missile should also suffer the same control jank as other heli missiles. I understand it probably just uses different coding than other missiles right now, but it needs to have that jank. 2) the T114 is over-br'd as hell. Its nothing more than an M50 alternative and yet its a whole BR higher. If the M50 is 6.7 so should the T114 be. Them moving it up to 7.7 is just more of gaijins mentally retarded balancing, there are much better options than the M50 and T114 at 6.7 with the same gun. Shouldve never been moved up.

Sure, the M50 has the same gun as the T114, but the T114 doesn't suffer from the jankyness of the 6 barrels, and it doesn't have to aim them separately. The M50 only has +- 40 degrees of horizontal guidance, so it is even more frustrating to play.
