I haven't played this but can you pretty much do anything on any character? Or are certain things only available per character

well all items are tied to a character or monster, but there are ways to get them anyways with the exception of dooleys cores, but there are also small subsets of skill that only avaible to each character. so you can almost do anything on any character, but the path to get there will feel different

Every characters has a pool that is only available to them, but through special events and some monster encounters you can obtain items "you're not supposed to have" which leads to the most broken (and fun) type of builds
