You can't aspire to perfection in everything you do. That will just leave you burnt out and miserable. Also, if you're going for perfection, your worst enemy is being angry after losing. The correct thing to do is to accept the loss, accept that you were outmatched, download the replay and look for your own mistakes. Being angry does not help anybody, and it blocks you from being able to learn.

Anger can be a motivating factor and if it does not overwhelm you, it can give you the initial trigger to even download the replay and analyze a game, which is not intrinsically motivating.
